A beautiful 2 bedroom penthouse apartment in spacious gardens with a large circular pool with lifeguard. From the rooftop terrace you can view the sunsets of an evening disappearing behind the Sierra Bermeja mountains.

Over the road is Donatellas restaurant with patio overlooking golf course. This is a beautiful place to wine and dine, very upmarket yet affordable - also live entertainment at weekends.

A 5 min walk through the nature trail passing through the childrens play area consisting of swings slides roundabout with Terracita Bar/Cafe selling reasonably priced snack food and drinks - good place for families with children you can overlook play area whilst enjoying a drink. Carry on through nature trail over bridge to the right is a beach bar / fish restaurant on Sabinillas Beach - highly recommended . To the left on the beach is another restaurant La Bahia - again well recommended.

Here also is a stunning new complex consisting of large infinity pool, white leather sunloungers, parasols, restaurant with waiter service - there is a charge to go in but well worth it for a bit of pampering.

There is now a boardwalk in place taking you through to Sabillinas (5mins) a traditional Spanish beach front town with tapas bars, variety of restaurants, shops, banks supermarkets. From here you can carry on walking to Puerta De La Duquesa a stunning marina where you can enjoy international cuisine at affordable prices, bars with entertainment, two nightclubs.

Estepona is a bustling town known for its bars, harbour, restaurants and clubs is a 10 minutes drive away. Do try Sunday afternoon barbeque at the lagoon beach bar, entertainment with Django. Get there early its always busy!

The cosmopolitan towns of Marbella and Puerta Banus are 20 minutes drive away. A 10 minutes drive through the mountains with stunning scenery is the white sugar cubed hilltop village of Casares, unspoilt and traditional with views across to Gibraltar. Top class golf courses within easy reach. 5* Finca el Cortesin next door and Dona Julia.

UPPER TERRACE

Now outdoor living comes into its own, the apartment has an upper terrace 90sqm accessed by side staircase. A large circular table, 4 adjustable chairs , 2 sunloungers all with padded cushions, large pagoda that has a pendant light for the evenings where you can watch the sunset over the Sierra Bermeja mountains, a power point for the CD player with a library of CDs for your entertainment. A chiller and griddle for al fresco dining.

LOWER TERRACE

Accessed from patio doors off the lounge. This has a table and four chairs with cushions and an umbrella for shade a perfect spot for breakfast and occasional drinks.

SWIMMING POOL

This is a large 2m deep circular pool with sunbeds and sunshades for free use, a lifeguard in attendance. There is an adjoining children's pool. There is a boules court, a small all weather putting green. There is seating and palm trees around the complex

gardens which are illuminated at night .

The apartment is cleaned prior and after use. Welcome packs can be provided at a charge. English management team will greet you at property for handover of keys etc.

The Costa del Sol region

Sierra Nevada 2-2½ hours away via autoroute. Resort of Pradellano is the highest resort in Europe with 22 lifts and 70 pistes. It is accessible as a day trip.

The Ronda is an area of natural beauty both the town and area of the same name is a must. Seville is a 2 hour drive but worth the effort lots of history and style. Gibraltar a little bit of UK in the med only differences is the prices, no vat or tax. It's worth a trip around the island and up the cable car to the apes p.s. watch your wallet. A trip across the sea to north Africa from Gibraltar sounds a long way but it'll take 35 min on the fastcat you can go on organised trip or on your own.

Casares

10min walk to sandy beach at Sabillinas. 5 min drive to Porta Duquesa beautiful port area awash with bars restaurants to suit all tastes [my favourite]. 10 min drive the other direction Estepona large resort long sandy beach, night clubs and great choice dining. Marbella and Puerta Banus 25 minutes drive away. Gibraltar is twenty minute drive away.

This is Costa del Golf. There are as many as 20 championship courses within 30 minute drive.Right next door is El Finca Cortesin (home to Volvo World Matchplay). Across the road is Casares Golf which includes D'Antonela's restaurant/terrace bar.

Don Julia is 1km away Estepona Golf 3Km Duquesa golf and Countryn Club 3km, Sotogrande 10km Valderama 12km. If you have more than 4 in your golfing party we can co-ordinate with other apartment owners on the complex.

Casares del sol is situated for some great hiking from gentle beach strolls to some serious trekking in the local mountains. For bird watchers there is a huge variety both indigenous and migratory.

The nearest Supermarket is Lidl in Sabillinas, plus Supersol and Mercadona 5 mins drive. There is a large Carrefour supermarket in Estepona just off the motorway E15/370 coastroad. A petrol station with small shop for basic stuff and taxi rank are located at the bottom of the road, 1km away. The nearest banks, chemists, and local shops are also in Sabillinas. There are a number of various restaurants in Porta Duquesa , Chinese, Italian, Pizza, Carvery, and good old Fish and Chips. Lots of spanish roadside restaurants leading up to the town of Casares turn right out of the development and follow the road up. The Casares del Sol restaurant over the road serves some lovley cuisine - this is a good lunchtime spot - a snack and beer on the patio overlooking the green.
