The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Fantastic climate, you can chose any lifestyle you like, to any budget - anything is available: sport, shopping, culture, night life, food, and the quality is great.
The nearby towns of Sabinillas and La Duquesa have many shops, restaurants (great seafood) and clubs. Freshest fruit and vegetables available from nearby farms. La Duquesa and Finca Cortesin Golf Courses are about one mile away; Sotogrande and Valderama Golf Courses are about 15 minutes drive.
LaDuquesa has a very nice marina, and so does another nearby town of Estepona - deep sea fishing and yacht hire are available throughout the year.
Casares Costa / Dona Julia Golf Resort area
The Dona Julia Golf Club is an excellent 18 hole, par 72 golf course with fantastic facilities and a beautiful course. Designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido, this is a top course with great views of the Mediterranean and plenty of challenges for all levels of golfers.
How to get there
By motorway from Malaga Airport 45 minutes, from Gibraltar Airport 25 minutes; around 20 flights per day from the UK, plenty of budget airlines throughout the year. Car hire can be easily arranged at the airports. 85 Euros by taxi from Malaga Airport.
