The nearest beach is 1 km away, with many other quiet beaches nearby.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Situated beside two beautiful golf courses, just 1km from the nearest beach and 2km from the nearest village, this is an ideal location for a quiet, peaceful holiday with access to more lively entertainment if required. Estepona, the nearest large town, is 15 minutes’ drive. One of the few coastal towns to retain its pueblo charm, Estepona offers numerous street cafes and tapas bars serving traditional Spanish delicacies. You'll also find unusual shops and bodegas in Estepona, where you'd least expect them, all very inviting, very friendly - and very cheap! Puerta Banus is about 15 minutes further on, and offers a glimpse of how the more affluent spend their time (and money), along with lots of shopping opportunities. For more reasonably priced shopping, drive another 5-10 minutes to Marbella (about 40 minutes in total from the apartment). You can also visit Gibraltar, which is a 40 minute drive away, for tax-free shopping and sight-seeing. You could also consider taking a day trip to Tangier in Morocco. If you prefer not to drive, bus trips can be arranged in Duquesa. If you wish to experience the less commercialised areas of Spain, head up into the mountains and visit the picturesque village of Casares with atmospheric restaurants and bars. Be a bit more adventurous and you will discover the delights of Ronda and Mijas with their splendid views and atmosphere.
Casares Costa area
The development borders the 5 star El Finca Cortesin golf resort with championship golf course, golf academy and driving range. Across the road is a 9 hole course. Less than 5 minutes’ drive away is the excellent Dona Julia course with La Duquesa Golf a couple of minutes further on. Also within 5 minutes’ drive is the local village, Sabinillas - an unspoilt Spanish village with a beautiful beach and promenade. It also boasts a street market every Friday and a massive car boot sale and market every Sunday. Just beyond Sabinillas is the scenic Port of Duquesa with marina and lots of restaurants and bars for a more lively evening.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga or Gibraltar. A number of budget airlines fly into both locations (e.g. EasyJet, Jet2), but there are other airlines flying there providing competitive prices (e.g. British Airways). Casares del Sol is a 40 minute drive from Gibraltar on the motorway and 1 hour from Malaga. More detailed directions will be provided upon request.

Further details
A £100 deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure. An additional £100 security payment is due on payment of the balance to cover the costs of damage etc. This will be refunded within 10 days of departure subject to satisfactory inspection of the property. Provisional bookings will be held for up to five days (excluding late bookings) to enable you to arrange compatible flights and car hire etc.
