Home description

Casares del Sol is ideal for beach, golf and sightseeing holdays. Close to a lovely sandy beach, and beach bar that serves excellent food! Small convenience shop & taxis within walking distance. Ideal for family or couple holidays - Children's swimming pools available with lifeguards in holiday season.

Sabinillas & Puerto de la Duquesa are a pleasant 20/30 minute walk along the beach and a paved promenade, or a 5 minute drive. Estepona is a 10 minute drive away. There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants in the Yacht Marina of Duquesa and on the seafront of Sabinillas.
The old town of Estepona is well worth a visit - you will find shops, pavement cafes, beach bars, typically spanish restaurants and the old square where you can sit and watch the world go by. Marbella and Puerto Banus just 20 mins away.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

All year round sunshine. Ideal for beach, golf, sailing, sightseeing.

Other activities include water park for the children (30 minute drive away), wild life park (20 minute drive away), riding, sailing, polo, diving, walking, culture and history.

If you do want to venture further afield then the Costa del Sol is a great location for visiting other parts of Andalusia or Southern Spain, such as the cities of Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Jerez de la Frontera, Malaga & Seville, and are all within easy reach and steeped in their own history and culture.

This area is very upmarket and not frequented by Package Tours. If you like package tour holdiays and do not like doing your own thing then the Estepona area is not the place for you!!

Whilst Estepona is a lovely upmarket Spanish town the prices do not reflect the very expensive prices that you will find in Marbella & Puerto Banus.


Casares Costa area

Sabinillas is just a few minutes drive and has a good collection of shops for 'everyday' needs (including 3 supermarkets). Sabinillas is a small town next door to the port, it is very typically Spanish with very little tourist influence, however there are some fantastic restaurants on the sea front.

Just 5 mins drive / 20/30 minutes stroll along the paved promenade is the port of Duquesa where there is every restaurant imaginable: typical Spanish, Italian (including Speciality Pizza) Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Sea Food, Good Old British Pub Food, Steak Houses – basically there is anything you need in the port and more…

There are plenty of other places to visit, and for a days outing drive to the magnificent ancient city of Ronda about 45 mins away plus the historic towns of Cadiz, Grenada and Seville.

Driving south towards the Atlantic coast there is Tarifa, a surfer’s paradise and only 50 mins away. From here you can take the fast ferry to Morocco, a 45 mins crossing.

For children there are the superb water parks at Mijas and Algerciras, the Tivoli Gardens at Benalmadena, the Selwo Safari park at near Estepona and the Funny Beach towards Fuengirola.

Further details

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental cost, (or a minimum amount of £150), will be payable when confirming your reservation. Payments can be made by bank transfers in UK£ or Euros.

Upon receipt of the cleared funds you will receive confirmation of your reservation via email, including Terms & Conditions for rental. Detailed directions from Malaga & Gibraltar Airports will be available as soon as full payment has been made.

Balance of rental cost. Final Payment, including a security deposit of £250 is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. Your reservation cannot be held if the funds are not received.

Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel for any reason, and we are able to re-let the apartment then your deposit will be returned to you. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance to cover such unforeseen circumstances.


Conditions

SECURITY DEPOSIT (further details are available in our Terms and Conditions which will be supplied when reservations are made.
Upon your arrival this apartment will be spotlessly clean and without any damage. In order for your deposit to be fully refunded to you, we expect to find the apartment and the contents in the same condition when you leave. All Keys &, Remote Controls must be be returned when you check out.

Please note that lost keys & remote controls will be charged at €50 each, and if you have left the apartment in a poor state then you will be charged for additional cleaning at an hourly rate.

Notes:
If you have accidentally broken a cup, glass, plate or similar, kindly let us know. You will not be charged for minor accidents, as not much that is dropped on the marble floor will "survive"! Any major items that have been damaged or are missing will be reported to us immediately.

We kindly request that the apartment & its contents are treated with respect. This is a newly furnished, quality apartment, and we want to keep it that way for all our clients to enjoy.

We stayed in the apartment for 6 months over the winter and found it a great apartment in a really peaceful area. Its also an ideal location for exploring with a lot of things to do not too far away, eg Selwo Zoo in Estepona was fantastic. We also found that Sabinillas is a great place to go day or night and very child friendly with some great restaurants. Natasha, Luke and Reece 30th Sept 07 to 30th March 08.
