Home description

This is a fully furnished self catering apartment in a quiet location 700 metres from beach and 15 mins from the picturesque village of Casares, 5 mins from uncrowded, gorgeous seaside town Sabanillas. Also 10 mins away is port of Duquesa complete with restaurants, bars and marina. (An inexpensive boat can be chartered from here for bbq cruising or dolphin spotting.) Casares Costa and Sabanillas are the closest beaches although many beautiful beaches along the coast are within easy reach eg Sotogrande, Estepona. Despite its quiet and peaceful location Marbella , Puerto Banus and Gibraltar are less than half an hours drive for shopping and nightlife. Tarifa is 30 mins away and is very good for whale and dolphin watching, August is best time to see Orcas.
Casares is now definitely part of Costa del Golf , the new golf courses such as Dona Julia and El Cortesin (home of Volvo World Matchplay) are less than five minutes away. There are more than 20 first class golf courses in this area such as Valderamma home of the Ryder cup in 1997, San Roque, Duquesa, Estepona, Alcadeisa.

Casares Village, Roman baths, dolphin safari, bars, beach bar restaurant, Sabanillas, Duquesa port, Sotogrande port, Estepona town and beach. There are also nearby attractions for children eg Selwo Park.
Gibraltar is worth a visit for shopping and to see apes.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are less than half an hour away, good for shopping, nightlife.
Families and walkers would enjoy the picturesque and historic white Casares village and panoramic views of coastline including rock of Gibraltar and Morroco.

Malaga airport is 40 mins by car and Gibraltar airport is 20 mins by car. At the moment Monarch fly regularly to Gibraltar. Many carriers go to Malaga eg Thomson, Easyjet. It is possible to travel to Casares del Sol by bus or taxi both from Malaga and Gibraltar.
