A brick archway separates the open kitchen which is modern & well equipped with 2 electric ovens, 2 very large fridge freezers, ceramic & gas hobs & the usual kettles, toaster, coffee machine, microwave etc; tea towels will also be there for you; there is also a fully equipped summer kitchen in the covered BBQ area by the pool

An atmospheric room, comfortable leather seating, tables & lamps, English satellite TV, large DVD and VIdeo collection, many books in library, all arranged with your comfort in mind, high vaulted timber beamed ceiling, original works of art adorn the walls for your enjoyment, patio doors access the terrace

A large shaped 5x10 meter heated swimming pool with a depth of 1.7 meters is open all year, vast stone terraces surround the pool with sun loungers, tables & chairs provided, planting around the area provides for a calm atmosphere & privacy, there is also the convenience of the summer kitchen & BBQ being to hand;

extensive exterior sun & shade terraces have been created, accessed directly from the Pool & all sides of the property, some naturally shaded by the Olive trees or with tiled, or, bamboo roofs. The main terrace on the Villa is mostly shaded & provides for outside dining & reception area, as well as further sun bathing, perfect in the heat of the day & evening drinks watching the sun sets over the mountains

Garden notes: Villa Flores opens out onto its own parkland with Olives, Almonds, Fig, Pomegranates, Orange, Walnut, fruit & nut trees, with far reaching views over the valleys & mountains beyond

Further details

A non refundable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure your dates, thereafter the balance of 75% is due 8 weeks prior to check in date, together with a €250 security deposit. Should you chose to cancel your holiday there will only be a 50% refund if the property can be relet for that period. The security deposit is fully refundable one week after departure, subject to any breakages, damage or excessive cleaning.

Changeover day

We are flexible on change over days to suit you but dates need to tie in with existing bookings;

Normal Arrival Vacate times 16.00 & 10.00 hours respectively;

House towels & bedding are provided for you but not for outside use

Reasonable cleaning of the property is also included after you have vacated

Pool towels are available at €3 ea. p/wk.

Air con or heating is charged at €150 p/wk if required

Babysitting, cooking, driving available by prior notice

The Andalucia region

The many varieties of subtropical plants with the combination of sea, sun, light & water make the charm of the white, rural, Andalucía villages the escape that they are, to the traditional Spain, where the inhabitants are warm & friendly, the restaurants & bars welcoming with 3 course lunchtime menus at 8€ including wine, affordable for all.

Casarabonela, Ardales and El Burgo villages are about a 15 minute drive, are typical white washed villages of Moorish origin, retaining narrow, winding streets & Moorish-inspired architecture & handicraft skills, with most services & good restaurants available. Situated around the natural park of The Sierra de Las Nieves, one of the most beautiful National Parks in all Andalucía & one of Spain's richest natural enclaves, protected by UNESCO with Biosphere Reserve status. It boasts an impressive array of both flora & fauna & an abundance of wildlife including eagles, boar, lynx, cougar, pine martins, partridge etc. & yet you are within about an hour of the glitz of Marbella, Puerto Banus & the Costa del Sol generally. Day trips may be made to cities such as Ronda, Granada, Marbella, Antequera, Gibraltar, Cordoba & Sevilla.

To the North, Ardales is on the Western point of the most some extensive & beautifully stunning fresh water lakes stretching through to El Chorro, good for walking, swimming, & canoeing, a couple of excellent restaurants & bars The El Chorro gorge & Antequera, with the enigmatic natural stone structures of El Torcal National Park.


If a day at the beach is required you can be on the coast at a beachside restaurant in 60 minutes. The coastal plain between the mountain ranges has a variety of quite different towns & resorts; including: Málaga, Marbella, Benalmadena, Mijas, Toremolinos, Estepona, & Fuengirola. At the far extremity is the historic port of Cadiz with Gibraltar in between & ferry trips available to Morocco from Algeciras. With such a vast number & variety, it makes it more enjoyable to visit a different resort rather than be in the same surroundings of just one. Therefore being based at Villa Flores for your stay it is convenient as a centre to explore both the coast & the countryside, although, we do not expect you will want to venture away from here except for the 1 trip to confirm there is no where you would rather be. Golf is very popular in the area with many courses available.

Málaga is an elegant port, retaining many of its original Moorish buildings, the Alcazar & hilltop castle giving impressive views. The inner city, just behind the harbour, has palm lined pedestrianized streets with interesting & impressive shops, café bars & restaurants. There is also the Cathedral & as Picasso's birthplace, there is a museum dedicated to the artist. There are many festivals in the City & area generally, which, with the wealth & influence of cultural heritage left by the Moors, some of this influence is reflected in the fiestas, music, architecture & dance, together with the magic of gipsy culture, costume, horse drawn carriages & dressage.
