THINGS TO DO:
__Altos de Chavon__
Altos de Chavon, is an architectural wonder, a 16th century replica of a Mediterranean village perched high above the Chavón River. The village was designed by Dominican architect Jose Antonio Caro, and created by Italian master designer and cinematographer Roberto Coppa. Dominican artisans handcrafted the stone pathways, decorative ironwork, furniture and enchanting buildings, reviving almost forgotten crafts of metal work and stone carving.
__Bars & Lounges__
Refresh and relax at our unmatched variety of bars and lounges located throughout the resort. Enjoy cool beverages at the Beach, during a heated sports game, or while touring at Altos de Chavon or the Marina. The Casa de Campo Inclusive Supplement add-on provides for unlimited drinks at specified bars & lounges!
The Maccioni Family of the world-famous Le Cirque Restaurant in New York City has joined forces with Casa de Campo to create an unforgettable dining experience at the newly renovated restaurant on private Minitas Beach! Enjoy tropical breezes and breathtaking views as you dine on delicious seafood, grilled meats, pasta, fresh salads and side dishes along with amazing desserts. From menu creation through food preparation, presentation and service, Le Cirque trained chefs oversee the Beach Club´s cuisine with a unique Caribbean flair.
Enjoy an immense variety of entertainment for the entire family that starts in the morning and doesn't end until the wee hours. By day, bask in the warm sunshine at the beach, pamper yourself at the spa, golf or choose from one of our many sports, shop, or relax in the tropical Caribbean breezes with a refreshing beverage from one of our many daytime bars. Be sure to take advantage of complimentary merengue lessons at the beach- the sizzling national dance of the Dominican Republic.
In addition to its world-class sports facilities, Casa de Campo has great tours and excursions for everyone to enjoy. Fun getaways include the cave exploration, tours of Santo Domingo, Catalina Island Catamaran tour and more.
Gianfranco Fini & Piero Giacosa - Two Italian gentlemen with roots as designers and visionaries, had a dream. They took their dream half way around the world to the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean - and a country called the Dominican Republic. Here they met with the owners of the fabulous Casa de Campo resort. The resort owners heard these men, their dream, and gave it wings...
Today, located at Latitude 18 degrees 23.9 North and Longitude 68 degrees, 54.2 West, their amazing dream is reality. Where the Chavon River meets the Caribbean Sea at the water´s edge of a 7,000 acre resort, is a chic new community and paradise found for sailors as well as those who have a need for speed... boats!
Inspired by the old seaside villages of the Mediterranean, but equipped with all the most modern services to guarantee a comfortable, relaxing stay, Casa de Campo Marina extends over more than 90,000 square meters. Its colorful residential architecture includes 105 units including villas and townhouse-type apartments, many with a private pier. In the Calle Barlovento, besides the residential apartments, there are numerous shops to satisfy any need, while the Piazza Portofino, with its beautiful restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream shops and cafés, is the center of the night life and the natural backdrop for shows, sports and cultural events. The Casa de Campo Marina is where resort guests shop, dine and gaze at some of the finest vessels cruising the high seas; lovers of the sea reside; and cruising yachtsmen moor for maintenance, or come and play at the Caribbean´s Most Complete Resort!
__Shopping in Casa__
Enjoy the "thrill of the hunt" for that one-of-a-kind unique gift or treasure at one of our many shops or boutiques where you can buy everything from inexpensive trinkets and Dominican crafts to fine jewelry, luxury yachts and villa homes, or simply relax and enjoy a leisurely afternoon of "retail therapy". No matter how you like to play this sport, shopping at Casa de Campo is paradise found!
