- This elegant villa in Carvoeiro has recently undergone a complete renovation which has totally transformed it into a top portugal villa which enjoys a superb position just above the very popular resort of Carvoeiro. The main rooms open out onto the Focal point, the swimming pool area.
The tasteful and spacious accommodation comprises hallway into bright and airy sitting room with satellite TV, central fireplace with French doors to the covered terrace, sun terrace and swimming pool. In the left wing of the villa there are two twin bedrooms, each with French doors to a rear terrace and barbecue area. These two bedrooms share a bathroom, but there is an additional cloakroom with a toilet and basin . There is also a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a French door to the pool terrace.
From the sitting room you enter the right wing where there is a study with parquet floor, guest toilet, and master double bedroom with dressing room and en-suite bathroom with huge walk in shower unit. There is also a French door to the pool terrace. Casa Comprida has been newly decorated and tastefully furnished throughout.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The weather is great most of the year (average yearly temperature 22.3C). May its in the lower 20sC, June/July/August/September upper 20sC - 35C or more.
The area is filled with history. Why not go and explore some of the beautiful villages and towns that Portugal has to offer. You can visit the most westerly point in Europe - Cape St Vincent, see the natural springs in the Monchique mountains, visit some of the town markets and by the way Lisbon is only 2.5 hours away by car for the those who want to go a bit further, or Spain at 1 hour away.
Carvoeiro / Vale do Milho area
Casa Comprida is set in an area of Carvoeiro called Vale De Milho (Valley of Maize). Beach, Shops, Restaurants and even a Golf Course are within walking distance, however a car is recommended but not essential. If you want more than just lazing by the pool all day there are endless amounts of places to see and things to do, Golf, Tennis, Watersports, Sightseeing. Waterparks, Walking, Shopping and so much more...
Coast/Beach There are several pretty coved beaches in the area within 5 minutes drive including Benagil, Centeannes and Carvoeiro. Wide sandy beaches are at Armacao De Pera Ferragudo & Praia Grande.
Golf The 9 hole par 3 Vale do Milho golf course is within 1km and other more challenging courses are within 30 minutes drive. These include the Gramacho and Pinta courses on the Pestana complex. Championship courses include Vale da Pinta near Carvoeiro and the famous Penina course near Portimao. A golfers paradise.
Travel Faro airport is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended to explore the general area but all local services are in Carvoeiro approx 20 minutes walk. Taxis are readily available
Distances Carvoeiro is about a 20 minute walk and the towns of Lagos, Silves & Portimao are up to 30 minutes drive. A leisurely day trip would include the Monchique mountains and Cape St Vincent with other areas of the western peninsula.

Further details outdoors: Outside, the pool and terrace form the focal point. The pool which has been recently retiled and made one depth and able to be heated (at extra cost). A few steps lead down from the pool terrace to a well stocked private garden with pergola.
The pool terrace area has been extended to include a covered dining area with barbecue, sink, fridge and tiled work surfaces for those leisurely poolside lunches. Good distant sea views are enjoyed from the pool terrace.
Gates open up to off road Car Parking for 4 cars.

BOOKING DEPOSIT... A 25% deposit is required on booking. The balance is required (plus returnable breakages and damages deposit £150) 2 calendar months prior to guests' arrival CHANGE OVER DAY... Normally Saturday but other days may be considered ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE... Arrival after 15H00 and departure before 10H00.
