About the home

This beautiful villa with private pool (heated if required), is situated area of Vale do Milho in Carvoeiro, yet close to the town centre and all it's amenities. On two levels, the ground level has two twin bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room, the other with bath/shower room directly adjacent), kitchen, lounge/dining area, guest WC and entrance hall. The lounge and both bedrooms have patio door access to the back terrace, where there are fantastic views to the Atlantic. Upstairs there is a huge double bedroom with air conditioning, en-suite shower room, plus another small room. The views from the upstairs balcony out to sea, are breathtaking.

The pool area is well planned (gated), with outside dining area with seating, BBQ adjacent and sunbeds for all. The walk-around mature gardens include lemon trees, pepper trees amongst many others. This property has every ingredient for a fun packed & enjoyable family holiday.

The hillside adjacent to Vila Pequena is currently under development. As a result construction work may have an impact on your holiday. Therefore the rental prices have been reduced while the development is being undertaken to reflect the impact it may have during clients. Any bookings made will be on the understanding that clients accept this.

HEATED SWIMMING POOL... This is optional, costing £100 for the first week and £50 per consecutive week.

Conditions

BOOKING DEPOSIT... A 25% deposit is required on booking. The balance is required (plus returnable breakages and damages deposit £150) 2 calendar months prior to guests' arrival
CHANGE OVER DAY... Normally Saturday but other days may be considered
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE... Arrival after 15H00 and departure before 10H00.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The weather is great most of the year (average yearly temperature 22.3C). April/May/October/November its in the lower 20sC, June/July/August/September upper 20sC - 35C or more. If you are lucky you can lay on the beach enjoying the sun on Christmas day.

The area is filled with history. Why not go and explore some of the beautiful villages and towns that Portugal has to offer. You can visit the most westerly point in Europe - Cape St Vincent, see the natural springs in the Monchique mountains, visit some of the town markets and by the way Lisbon is only 2.5 hours away by car for the those who want to go a bit further, or Spain at 1 hour away.

The Carvoeiro / Vale do Milho area

Carvoeiro offers Banks, shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment, beach, boat trips (to the Grottos). There is a restaurant about 3 minute walk from the Villa. Most activities are close by, Golf (course can be seen from the Vila), Horse riding, Tennis, 3 water parks in the area, shopping centres and more. Golf courses: The 9 hole par 3 Vale do Milho golf course is within 1km and other more challenging courses are within 30 minutes drive. These include the Gramacho and Pinta courses on the Pestana complex. Championship courses include Vale da Pinta near Carvoeiro and the famous Penina course near Portimao. A golfers paradise.

There are several pretty coved beaches in the area within 5 minutes drive including Benagil, Centeannes and Carvoeiro. Wide sandy beaches are at Armacao De Pera Ferragudo & Praia Grande.

Faro airport is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended to explore the general area but all local services are in Carvoeiro approx 20 minutes walk. Taxis are readily available
