Casa Elysium is a 3 bedroom privately owned fully detached villa with swimming pool and fabulous sea-views less than 10 minutes walk from Carvoeiro square and beach. Set in 3000 sq. m of totally private mature Mediterranean gardens it enjoys a perfect location.
Just over the hill at Monte Carvoeiro, Casa Elysium looks out to sea and down the Vale do Currais. It is less than 10 minutes walk into the centre of Carvoeiro village and beach. There is also a small beach at the end of a track directly down from the villa. Access is down a wooden ladder (you would doubtless be the only people on this beach!).

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve benefits from a wonderful climate being hot and sunny throughout the majority of the spring, summer and autumn, but retaining a cooling breeze from the Atlantic. On Europe's south western corner, its climate is comparable to that of California.
Carvoeiro area
Casa Elysium is a ten-minute walk from Carvoeiro square. It is in a quiet area away from any entertainment noise in the village. The small square at "Monte Carvoeiro" has excellent restaurants also and is just a 4 minute walk away.
Carvoeiro has its own 'town beach' and it is a small sweep of sand sheltered by cliffs on either side. There are shower and toilet facilities and it is well served by bars and restaurants on the paved area just behind the entrance. Access is easy and level with the paving although there is only a short boarded walkway.
The village square, by the beach, has entertainment in summer and is always interesting on hot summer evenings. There are many restaurants to choose from, but it has managed to maintain its "fishing village" character.

Fly to Faro or Lisbon - Carvoeiro is 50 km from Faro airport.
Cheap flights available with easyjet.com from most UK airports to Faro airport. Car hire available from www.algarvedriver.com.

Further details indoors: There is a large living and dining room with high ceiling, two sofas and satellite TV. The kitchen is a new fitted kitchen with all mod cons including granite work surfaces. Constructed in the 70s, the villa has a charm and character not found in today's modern villas.
All rooms except the kitchen have fabulous sea views. The villa is completely private and not overlooked.
Further details outdoors: The large circular drives goes around the villa through gardens with hidden pathways loaded with succulents, agaves, palms etc.
The swimming pool is approx. 4m x 8m kidney shaped with large terrace with a shaded area. The pool depth slopes from 1m to 2.4m at the deep end.
