Superb, private 3 bed, 3 bathroom villa with full air conditioning set in beautiful landscaped gardens with a heated swimming pool and just 5 minutes from stunning beaches and wonderful restaurants.

Casa das Abelharucas ( a bird called a bee eater) is situated in a peaceful and tranquil location near Caramujeira, yet only 10 minutes from the bustling village of Carvoeiro where you will find plenty of excellent restaurants, supermarkets, banks and shops.

Our villa is perfect for a family holiday enjoying all the comforts of home life.

Our villa is totally fenced, with electric gates at the entrance for safety and peace of mind. It has security lights and garden lighting for when you arrive home after dark.

30% non refundable deposit due with booking and the balance is due 6 weeks prior to your visit.

Refundable breakages deposit of £300 required prior to arrival and to be refunded one week after departure.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve enjoys a beautiful coastline with miles and miles of golden, clean sandy beaches and blue skies to match, making it an all year round holiday destination.

Places to visit include the mountains of Monchique for the local dish of chicken piri piri, the Moorish town of Silves with its spectacular castle and Lagos for its marina and shops.

The Carvoeiro / Caramujeira area

There`s plenty to do and see for everybody. If you enjoy golf, the Gramacho and Pinto 18 hole courses are just a 10 minute drive away on the outskirts of Carvoeiro. Have a fun day out with the family at the Slide and Splash water park, near Estombar. A must is a visit to Zoomarine, where you can watch the seals and the dolphin show and if you really want to spoil the children, they can even swim with the dolphins. Boat trips are available out of Lagos and Portimao taking you along the stunning coastline. If you are looking for a game of tennis, then look no further than Carvoeiro Club. With nearly 300 members, you will always find somebody to play with whatever your standard.

“Lovely secluded villa with all the facilities you could want.” This is a lovely villa - it has a very secluded garden which is not overlooked. The landscaped garden, the fish ponds and and citrus trees make this place stand out from other villas which don;t have a garden. The accomodation within the villa is spacious and well equipped. The bathrbooms are very luxurious. Agree with the previous reviewer that the kitchen is a little tired BUT this is a rental villa and it does contain everything you could need and, in good working order. The air conditioning is a real boon and make sleeping so comfortable - additionally on those days when it is too hot to be outside, the air con is a must. The pool is fantastic and a really lovely size. We travelled round quite a bit in the area as there was lots to see and do. You definately need a car if renting this villa. Although it is out of town, I would not say it is remote as it gives easy access to the EN125 which takes you straight to most of the major tourist areas of the Algarve. All in all I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone.

“Lovely secluded villa - a relaxing get away from it all” Villa bedrooms have been refurbished to an excellent standard but the lounge and kitchen are still to be refitted and are a little tired. A few areas need attention ( A/C not working in kitchen, pool lights and pool shower not working , jacuzzi not working ) but overall a lovely villa. The pool is so large you can have a good swim in it unlike other "splash pools". The grounds are lovely with ponds, fruit trees,palm teees etc.. It is very quiet which is so peaceful but if you are looking for bars/restaurants you will have to drive as nothing in walking distance . Great BBQ so restaurants not really missed.
