Villa Concorde is an individually designed, detached luxury villa, set in the middle of a small private residential development situated approx 2km from the bustling town centre of Carvoeiro.The villa sits in a slightly elevated position, with extensive ground floor sun terraces to the front, as well as mature gardens to the sides and rear of the property.
It provides extremely spacious living accommodation which briefly comprises of entrance hall, large dining kitchen, large lounge and 3 good sized bedrooms all with en suite facilities. It also has its own private swimming pool, secure off road parking and maid service is provided 3 times a week. For your self catering needs there are three large, well stocked supermarkets 3 km away and a smaller one close by. The town centre of Carvoeiro is approx 20 min walk away. Villa Concorde is an ideal all year round holiday home for families, couples and golfers.

This villa has been fitted to a very high standard by the owners who regularly use the property themselves. The ground floor features an entrance hall, large dining kitchen, large L- shaped lounge with French doors to the front & side of the property, downstairs shower/cloakroom with WC, internal hallway & bedroom 3 ( 2 x single beds, en suite), as well as utility room with washing machine & tumble dryer.
On the first floor there is a spacious landing, master bedroom with en suite bathroom & secluded sun terrace, and bedroom 2 ( 2 x single beds, en suite Jacuzzi bath).There is an additional, spacious secluded sun terrace off the 1st floor landing.
The property has marble floors throughout, security shutters on all windows, and air conditioning / heating. Because of the higher internal ceilings, the property has a light and spacious feeling.

There is an extensive ground floor sun terrace to the front of the property as well as mature gardens to the sides and rear. The villa has its own private swimming pool as well as parking within the boundaries of the property, behind electronically operated security gates.
There is also a purpose built BBQ, sink and poolside furniture which includes 6 sunbeds, 2 tables with sunshades and seating for 10 people.

Guests are kindly asked to arrive no earlier than 3pm and vacate before 10am on the day of departure (unless otherwise agreed).
Preferred changeover days are Thursdays (mainly to suit most cost-effective flights from the UK) but in certain circumstances, depending on occupancy, would consider other changeover days, particularly in spring & autumn.
Please note: For your safety, all non-swimmers and children must be supervised at all times whilst in the swimming pool area and children must not be allowed on the balconies unsupervised. Because of the open nature of the pool, the owners insurance conditions do not permit children under 7 years old to stay at the property.
Minimum stay during peak periods 7 days, however, off-peak we will consider long weekends or durations of more than one week (i.e. 10 days) if they can be accommodated.
The property is managed locally and maid service is provided three times a week. In addition, the pool is cleaned weekly, and the gardens are kept tidy by the owners regular gardener, Orlando, who also comes weekly.

The Western Algarve is Portugal's southernmost region. It is an area of stunning natural beauty with rugged mountain landscapes and coastlines frilled with rocky coves and fantastic sandy beaches, providing a treasure trove of secluded bathing spots and scenic walks, often unsignposted and hidden from the road by high sand dunes making every one an amazing discovery for the intrepid explorer.
Needless to say this sun-drenched coastline is perfect for outdoor pursuits such as tennis, horse riding and bird-watching. It is a haven for watersports enthusiasts who enjoy yachting and windsurfing and a true golfers paradise with numerous championship golf courses on offer. But for those of you who simply want to relax and unwind, the Algarve's almost tropical climate boasts over 3,000 hours of sunshine each year making it ideal for sun worshippers.
And for those of you interested in the regions rich culture and history you won't be disappointed. Discover quaint villages set on the seafront or tucked away in the hills, the charming walled port of Lagos with its handsome marina and 17th century Fort, the lovely spa town of Caldes de Monchique is well worth a visit and ancient Silves with its Moorish castle. Further west lies the historic town of Sagres and cliff top Cape St Vincent, Europe's most southerly point amongst many, many more. The Portuguese are Britain’s oldest allies, and UK tourists are made universally welcome. English is spoken widely.
The Carvoeiro / Central Carvoeiro area
Carvoeiro is a lively fishing village on the Western Algarve which has become very popular with tourists during recent years, but still manages to retain its local charm and character. The fishing boats come and go daily with their fresh catches of fish and locally produced fruit and vegetables can be purchased from the market. There is a lovely sandy beach with easy wheelchair access and many other beautiful unspoilt beaches closeby such as Benagil and Marinha which are perfect for swimming, watersports or just lazing around in the sun.
There are ample shops, bars and restaurants and every facility you are likely to need for your self catering holiday. Good restaurants abound for all tastes and pockets as well as many friendly snack bars. Portuguese restaurants serve a wide range of fish and traditional dishes, such as cataplana, feijoada and chicken piri piri, so try something different during your stay. Close to our villa (approx. 0.8km), is an excellent restaurant (Vila Nova – open from March-October) which enjoys excellent reviews.
Activities in and around Carvoeiro
The Algarve is always popular with golfers and Carvoeiro has 3 courses. Quinta do Gramacho which also has a driving range, the championship course at Vale de Pinta and the pretty 9 hole course at Vale do Milho. There is an all-weather tennis court on the development for resident's use only (keys will be provided) with further tennis courts and a gym at the Carvoeiro Club and Rocha Brava, and riding at Casa Galariaz with lessons and guided rides nearby. Fishing trips can be arranged aswell as many water sports.
The Slide and Splash Waterpark will be a favourite with both children and adults alike. At Zoomarine there are displays by the dolphins, sea lions and seals and it is also possible to join dolphins in the water for a “dolphin experience”. Also for the children there is Krazy World which is well worth a visit too! A boat trip to visit the caves and spot dolphins swimming wild can be arranged from Portimao, a short drive away, and it is also possible to hire local fisherman with their boats for a trip along the coast.
