The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve region averages 3000 hours of sunshine each year, more than the Costa Brava, Majorca and the French Riveria. Carvoeiro / Vale do Milho area
Vale de Milho is situated in the suburb of Carvoeiro and is ideal for walking along the cliff tops to the sea or through the country side. The unspoilt village of Carvoeiro, once a small fishing village, it is now a popular destination for visitors of all ages. The coastal road offers stunning views and leads into the centre of the village where a wealth of international restaurants are available to suit all pockets, some of which surround the golden sandy beach. There is a daily market selling locally grown produce, including fresh fish, a bakery and butcher. Carvoeiro tennis club includes a fitness centre, gym, swimming pool and diving school, together with excercise classes for all abilities. There are two scuba diving centres nearby together with horse riding and venues for family days out including slide and splash water park, zoo marine and krazy world, all within a short drive. The 9 hole par 3 Vale de Milho golf course is on your doorstep with large tees, greens, bunkers and water features. There is a well appointed club house, snooker room and indoor golf school. Other more testing championship courses include Vale de Pinta, Penina and five courses at Villamoura, are all a short drive away. There are many beautiful golden sandy beaches accessible within minutes, including Smugglers cove at Benagil, Caneiros and Praia Grande at Ferragudo. The nearest beach is Vale Centeanes within 2 km.
How to get there
Many budget airlines now have daily flights to Faro airport in the Algarve, Portugal. These include easyet, monarch,bmi baby,thomsonfly and more departing from most regional u.k, airports. Many airlines offer car hire and transport facilities, but these can be booked independently. It is advisable to book car hire and airport transfers in advance.

To the left is the second bedroom, with two single beds, fitted wardrobes and terrace, adjoined by an en suite bathroom including a large walk in shower area. The large comfortable lounge and dining room is situated off the hallway and has a fireplace and air conditioning. It has dining and lounge seating for six people, and satellite tv. Patio doors lead to terraces, one of which is enclosed for your winter comfort and includes an additional dining area. These sliding enclosures can be opened for the summer days. There is an andditional external terrace which adjoins this area and the master bedroom, which also overlooks the Vale De Milho golf course. The master bedroom comprises a double bed, fitted wardrobes and adjoining en suite bathroom, with bath and shower. There is a z bed which can accommodate a child available at this property.
Further details outdoors: This property is located on the Vale de Milho golf course, about 200 metres form the club house. Twilight golf can be played there from as little as 25 euros per person.

Prices are per week for the accommodation and are for a maximum of 4 adults and 1 child, using a zbed. They are inclusive of electricity, bed linen and towels. Maid visits mid week and will change towels. Bed linen and towels both changed after 1 week. A 100 pound security deposit is required. A non refundable 25% deposit is required to make a reservation with the balance paid 8 weeks before the commencement date of your holiday. If payment involves a bank transfer any charges involved must be paid by the person making the transfer. Guests should ensure they have adequate insurance cover in the event of cancellation. For your protection a comprehensive travel insurance policy should be obtained. On arrival days occupancy is possible from 13.00 hours.
