The townhouse is luxuriously appointed throughout. It is on 2 floors comprising of 1 double and 1 twin bedroom both en-suite with balconies, living/dining room, guest shower/cloakroom and an elegant, spacious, fully-fitted kitchen with laundry room. To the front and rear are terraces which look out onto beautifully landscaped, immaculately tended gardens and stunning views of the sea and mountains.
The house is fitted throughout with underfloor heating. All windows are double-glazed, fitted with mosquito screens and electric shutters. There is terrestrial and satellite TV, hi-fi system, DVD, Broadband Internet connection. The property is situated in the unique new development of Quinta da Boa Nova located between the picturesque fishing villages of Ferragudo and Carveoiro. The complex has 2 tennis courts, swimming pool and restaurant/bar. These facilities are set in beautifully laid out irrigated gardens, colourful all year round. This is the perfect location for training holidays for runners, triathletes and in particular cyclists (road and mountain). The roads are generally very quiet and well maintained in particular outside the major towns. Up in the mountains and towards the west hardy a vehicle. The main roads have wide hard shoulders for pedestrians and cyclist. Motorists are respectful. Off road is a feast. There are countless tracks through the countryside offering challenging (and less so) routes for everyone. Bike hire is available with free delivery and maintenance. Contact owner for details. Cycling is a very popular activity in Portugal so you will come across plenty of local riders who are very friendly.
Surfing is another very popular sport in Portugal. Within 15 minutes of the house there are a couple of good surfing beaches. Praia da Roche has a good wave and there are a couple of surf schools by the marina offering lessons in surfing, body boarding and wind sailing. Board and wetsuit hire also available. Further afield down the coast is Zavil and the beaches on the west coast near Sagres (a 45min drive through stunning countryside).
There are excellent swimming beaches Canarios, Ferragudo being only minutes away.

The townhouse has 2 ground floor terraces. The front terrace is equipped with a large patio table, the 2 tennis courts freely available to residence and the resort has a resident tennis professional providing lessons and coaching. There is a recently completed large communal swimming pool complex comprising of a main pool, children's pool, changing facilities and poolside bar which provides a wide range of food and beverages. A restaurant is shortly to be opened.
Welcome packs to suit visitors needs on arrival are available at an additional cost.
Cleaning and Laundry Service. A weekly maid service including linen and towel change is inclusive. Extra cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost . You will need to provide own pool and beach towels.
An extra £5 per week laundry costs for cot and fold up bed will be charged.
Non-smoking only and children are welcome
Changeover Day is flexible
Check-in time is 14.00hrs, check-out 10.00hrs to enble a full clean to be carried out.

The Algarve region
Caneiros beach is the nearest to Quinta da Boa Nova only being about a kilometre away. It is a fair sized and popular beach flanked by cliffs which gives some shade in the afternoons. Easy access. Reis das Praias restaurant is actually on the beach providing an excellent, mouthwatering selection of locally caught seafood. It is open all year round and very popular with local residents. Other beaches close by are Pintadinho (2km), Ferragudo, Praia Grande (3km), Paraiso immediately to west of Carveoiro (3km) and Carveoiro (4km) which is a picturesque sheltered bay immediately infront of the village. Ferragudo, Lagoa, Carveoiro are only a short drive away from Quinta da Boa Nova (10 mins max), where you will find a bank, chemist, supermarket and post office. They are all busy villages with plenty of small shops and restaurants. Portimao is the second largest town in the Algarve and therefore has a large shopping area, a wealth of restaurants, bars and night clubs.
For those who enjoy absorbing the local heritage, the region is steeped in history and interesting architecture. The many museums and churches can be visited for free or a nominal fee. A tour round one of the local vineyards is popular and where one can taste and purchase the area's award winning wines. Almost every outdoor activity or pursuit is available in the region throughout the year. Tennis, bowling, sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, canoeing, walking, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding and jet & water skiing. GOLF. Within 15 minutes of Quinta da Boa Nova, there are two championship golf courses and a top nine hole course - Vale do Milho. Gramacho and Vale da Pinta have each unique design concepts in which each hole provides a different challenge to golfers at every level. Preparation and conditioning of the courses are at tournament standard all year round. A little further afield are situated the superb and equaly challenging championship courses of Penina, Morgado do Reguengo, Silves, Alamos and Salgados. Warm playing conditions all year and immaculately manicured fairways and greens make the region one of the best golfing destinations in the world. Excellent bowling greens can be found at the nearby Carveorio Tennis club and Gramacho Golf Course. For the children and young at heart, Zoomarine, Slide & Splash, Aqualand attractions are a short distance as are the opportunities to go on Dolphin safaris, Jeep safaris or explore caves and the coastline on an authentic pirate ship. Lagos world renown zoo is approximately 23km from the resort.
For longer stays over the winter months trips to Spain, Gibraltar or Lisbon are easy being just a few hours drive on the nearby motorway system.

What a lovely holiday we had! The house was gorgeous! It had everything we needed and very clean. I was a little concerned it had no air conditioning but I have to say it was NOT a problem at all.....… More
