OUINTA DO RA is a newly built cliff top property in the Old Portuguese Grand Style. The views are truly spectacular and uniterrupted over the the Ocean ( 180 degrees).
A very lush, small, proctected natural valley is situated on the east side. Ideal as a as a starting point for fabulous cliff-top walks. Through a private gate on the clifftpos leads a path to a virtually unknown beach (300m.)
Situated in a small cul-de-sac on the edge of a residential area, this magnificent villa offers complete privacy without being isolated from all amenities.
The owner has used natural materials with exquisite antique elements in- and outside such as custom-built doors and closets.Original stone slab floors throughout the mansion.
All 4 luxurious bedrooms have large twin beds (box spring). Beds can be joined to make large double beds. Top quality linen. One bedroom has a separate sitting area. All have built-in safe's and sliding doors leading to their own separate garden terrace. All four bedrooms have en-suite bathroom of which one has a jacuzzi.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

There are ample shops, a pharmacy, banks, doctors clinic, butchers, bakers and newagents - everything you are likely to need. Good restaurants abound, for all tastes and pockets and there are plenty of friendly bars. Carvoeiro is just 45 minutes from Faro Airport.
Carvoeiro / Carvoeiro Clube area
Carvoeiro is a lively fishing village (town) which has become popular during recent years, but still retains its local charm. The fishing boats come and go, and fresh fish and locally produced fruit and vegetables can be purchased from the market.
Vivenda Gaivota is situated 10 min walk to the centre of Praia do Carvoeiro (1,5km) in the southern most province of Portugal the Algarve. Distance to the international airport of Faro approximates 50 km.
The tennis club of Carvoeiro is on walking distance while the well known Pestana Golf Resort containing two 18-hole courses (Gramacho and Vale da Pinta) is only 3 km away and another 25 golf course within a hour's drive.
In the direct area several beaches are accessible, the coved beach of Praia do Paraiso, is within a 10 minute walking distance.

Further details
Only persons booked are permitted on the property and use the facilities. A deposit of 50% with booking is requered and 50% is due 3 months before arrival. No refunds; a travel/cancelation insurence is adviced. The villa is only available from the 20th of June till the 26th of September 2009. The maximum number of people staying at the villa is eight. The top floor bedroom is for the owner's use only. ( not present during letting period) No children under the age of 5 are permitted.
