The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Carvoeiro is a small fishing village located in central Algarve, c. 40 mins. drive from Faro Airport. The village has a well serviced sandy beach surrounded by m any excellent restaurants. Apart from the superb golf courses there is a scuba diving centre, tennis club, gym and horseriding facilities.
There are no high rise apartment developments in the area. Pestana Palm Gardens is located within walking distance of the village and within 200 metres of Centeanes Beach which has been awarded the Blue Flag. How to get there
Ryan Air, Easy Jet, Aer Lingus etc. all fly to Faro.
When you leave Faro Airport head for the A22 in the direction of Lisboa (Lisbon) and Portimao. Leave the A22 at Lagoa Exit. Signposted to Carvoeiro. Proceed past Tivoli Almonsor Hotel approx. 300 mtrs. Palm Gardens on immediate right.
