Home description
Stunning, modern, spacious, air conditioned apartment in the heart of Carvoeiro. Well furnished with two bathrooms, all amenities, large balcony serving both bedrooms with beautiful views opposite. Close to beach, bars and a wide range of fabulous restaurants.
Our first floor apartment is located within the town and is within easy walking distance of the main beach (approximately 500 metres) and many local shops and restaurants.
For those of you who haven’t been before the coolest month is probably February and the hottest is July/August, and it can get very hot!!.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has a great climate ranging from 16C - 20C November to March making it ideal golfing weather and 20C - 35C in April to October for the sun lovers. The Algarve is a Golfers paradise, packed with Championship course with many dramatic holes. The area is also steeped in history with an abundance of beautiful villages and towns to visit including the most westerly point in Europe - Cape St Vincent and the natural springs in the Monchique mountains. Lisbon is only 2.5 hours away by car and Spain is easily accessible from the A22 Motorway.
Carvoeiro / Central Carvoeiro area
Carvoeiro has three golf courses in and around the village. It has two beaches. The apartment is located two minutes from a busy village centre but is away from the main hustle and bustle. A short evening stroll will take you to restaurants of many nationalities, the choice is yours. Upon your return, watch the sun sink in the West from the elevated balcony.
The Carvoeiro area is well served with beaches and there are some dozen or so within a five mile distance either way. The main beach at Carvoeiro is modest in size, clean and well kept. There are boat trips from the beach to view the caves nearby.
For those amongst you wishing to play golf, there are three golf courses within Carvoeiro and its suburbs!! Two of these are eighteen hole courses and there is one nine hole course for those that want a shorter day out.The nine hole Vale de Milho was designed by David Thomas of Belfry fame and offers a par three hole course, totalling 27 shots for experts, ideal for practising with short irons. The course is open from 8.30 am till late and is open to non members and families. All the usual club facilities are on offer. there are also a number of local courses 18 hole designed by Pro golfer Ronald Fream .
For those of you not wishing to play golf, the area has many other attractions; Zoo Marine approximately 15 kilometres from Carvoeiro where the dolphins, sea lions and parrots will keep you and the kids entertained for hours. Remember to take your swimming things with you!
Silves Castle and town – visit the historic town of Silves, approximately 20 kilometres inland from Carvoeiro, its castle is impressive and views for miles across the orchards and vineyards of the Algarve can be seen. There are quirky and trendy shops hidden in the tiny streets, an interesting trip.
If you have children, Krazy world is well worth a visit! You will find a huge mini golf, swimming pool, a petting farm, quad bikes, pony rides, a crocodile park and several other attractions - all in beautifully landscaped surroundings.
How to get there
Faro Airport is an easy 35 minutes drive along the Motorway. All major car hire operators are available with cars to pick up from the airport. For those not wishing to drive, visit resorthoppa.com for cheap transfers. Carvoeiro is well signposted from the motorway.
Flights are available from East Midlands airport with Easyjet or XL, from Coventry with Thompson and from Birmingham with Monarch or Flybe. All are available for on line booking together with car hire that can be arranged to be picked up at Faro airport.

Further details indoors: The apartment has two bedrooms, a double with en suite Jacuzzi bath and a twin with single beds and an additional family shower room. There is a large Lounge/Dining Room that also has a double bed within the sofa. There is a tv and dvd player for you to enjoy. Full air conditioning throughout makes your stay comfortable throughout the year. The kitchen is fully fitted with Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and large fridge.
Outside there is a large balcony with chairs, table and deck chairs that can be accessed from both bedrooms, the Dining Room and Kitchen. The balcony faces west and glorious sunsets can be observed against the beautiful treescape opposite. The balcony is not overlooked and is great for sun worshippers!!
Further details outdoors: There is secure car parking for one car in the underground car park beneath the apartment, but usually you can park on the street outside.

The owner's weekend rates apply to: Saturday and Sunday nights
NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
Refundable £100 security deposit required with final balance payment.
We can accept payments by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or Euros.
As cheaper air flights are available during the week, we would advise that flights are booked then, keeping the cost of your holiday down.
Because of this we charge the apartment out on a daily basis at £negotiable per day, irrespective of the number of people staying, this will include the day you arrive and leave.
It is obviously cheaper therefore to fill the apartment and you will find that five can be slept comfortably, six at a push.
