About the home

The apartment has two bedrooms one and half bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen with all high tech equipment, fridge freezer, washing machine, etc. The apartment has air conditioning through out and satellite tv,dvd player.The apartment is located in the heart of the village close to the bars and restaurants and the best ice cream parlours in Portugal, made fresh on the premises.

The apartment's balcony can be accessed from all rooms of the apartment, ideal for el fresco eating. The lounge is fully air conditioned. The beach of Carvoeiro is only two minutes away and is the only one to have wheelchair access.

The village is a beautiful fishing area with plenty of fish restaurants and all international cuisine readily available, 365 days a year. The town has two golf courses with discounted golf available and plenty of fishing off the beach and along the coast and daily boat trips.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve is famous for its beautiful beaches and the 300 days a year sunshine. The Algarve is steeped in history, dating back to 2000 BC and Carvoeiro is full of roman relics being washed up on the beaches. The Algarve also has more golf courses than any other European country per head.There is over 100 miles of golden sandy beaches in the algarve and the larger ones have lifeguard patrols during the summer months and are free to use.Some of the beaches will have bars,cafes and bars on so you can sample the excellent food on offer and cold drinks.

Carvoeiro has a cosmopolitan feel to it as it embraces the modern culture and the typical portuguese traditions
and there are plenty of fish restaurants to choose from along with a wide variety if different international foods.
The beach of Carvoeiro is protected by its beautiful cliffs and its long sloping beach.

The Carvoeiro / Central Carvoeiro area

The beach of Carvoeiro is the only beach that has wheelchair access and retains the fishing village's romantic feel.Through out carvoeiro there are hidden shops and cafes located in seceret gardens offering the typical paintings and crafts of portugal.Carvoeiro has many chill out bars offering jazz music to fado music and the modern pop music in its many bars but with a feel of comfort. There are festivals through the year and a sand festival in Pera which is about ten minutes away and artists from all over the world attend sculpturing sand carvings that start in June and ends in October.

The aqua park zoo marine has free buses that leave from different points through out Carvoeiro and takes you to the park where you can intereact with the dolphins or just use the water slides.The beach also lets you watch the sun go down at the end of the day ending that perfect evening. There are two golf courses in Carvoeiro and a new one being built and designed by Nick Faldo, opening in 2008, only a ten minute run along the 125 road.The village has restaurants with beautiful court yards with trees of oranges and lemons and limes adding to that romantic holiday.There are shops inside court yards and gardens offering all the beach toys the kids need.The hotel tivoli will let you us its pool as a guest of our apartment but not during the peak season and its bar and restaurant.The village is trully a beautiful place to visit and you can spend days eating in different cafes ,bars and restaurants without getting bored or just walking along the beach enjoying the excellent sea food on offer.The area gives both families and couples that holiday you really are looking forward to .There is an unspoilt fishing village called ferragudo where you can sample the excellent food fresh from the sea or tradional meat dishes or go fishing for yourself and cook your own evening meal.The town of lagoa is also close by and is the home of the famous arab poet Ibn Ammar also the beautiful village of porches is only minutes away and is famous for its ceramics and gardens.
