Casa Alteza is a semi-detached two bedroom townhouse on a small development of eighteen properties. It consists of entrance hall, large lounge'dining room, with comfortable seating for five people and dining table with seating for six people. One of the sofas converts into a sofa bed. The lounge boasts a log fire for year round comfort. The ground floor bedroom has two single beds and fitted wardrobes, next to which is the ground floor bathroom with toliet and shower. The large kitchen is fully equipped for your needs. A winding staircase leads to the first floor and the master bedroom with two single beds and fitted wardrobes and has the benefit of a balcony with countryside views. A separate bathroom comprises bath, shower and toilet. Their are two additional balconies on the first floor from where you can enjoy the stunning views. Both bedrooms have electrical wall mounted heaters.

The Algarve region
The Algarve region averages 3000 hours of sunshine each year, more than the Costa Brava, Majorca and the French Riveria. The province is located in the far south of Portugal, bordered by the Atlantic on two sides and mountains to the east. It stretches from the Spanish border westwards to Cape St. Vincent. One hundred and fifty miles of Portugal's coast is formed by cliffs overlooking numerous golden sandy beaches. Places to visit include the mountains of Monchique, Silves Castle, and the capital of Portugal, Lisbon., which has many historical buildings.
Carvoeiro / Sesmarias area
Sesmarias is a countryside location on the borders of Carvoeiro and Ferraguado. It is within easy reach of both places and Portimao with it's interesting shopping opportunities. Boat trips can be taken from Portimao to numerous destinations, these include sight seeing and shark fishing. There are two large water parks within a five minute drive and an aquatic centre where you can swim with dolphins. Carvoeiro is a small fishing village, which has a sandy beach from which short boat trips can be taken. It also has a diving centre which caters for all levels of experience and tennis club with gym.
How to get there
Fly to Faro airport. Casa Alteza is a 40 to 50 minute drive from the airport. Cheap flights to Faro are available from many local airlines including easy jet, monarch, thomson fly, bmi baby and more, departing from most regional u.k., airports.

It has a large shared swimming pool with ample sunbathing areas. The monchique mountains provide a beautiful backdrop. There are two superb restaurants within 100 metres. Other bars, restaurants and shops are within 600 metres. The nearest golf courses are Gramcho and Pinta which are 1 km away. These are maintained to an exceptionally high standard . The nearest beach is Caneiros which has a fabulous beach restaurant with fresh fish daily. There are numerous golden sandy beaches within a ten minute drive. The picturesque seaside village of Carvoeiro is five km away with its many shops bars and restaurants providing nightime entertainment for all.

Balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival date. If payment involves a bank transfer any costs involved must be incurred by the person making the transfer. Towels changed mid week, linen changed weekly. Beach towels not provided. Security deposit against damages is required. Guests are advised to take their own adequate insurance cover. A local management company are always available to assist visitors to this property.

I can highly recommend the villa. It was ideal for us, as it was easy access tio the motorway, easy access to Carvoeiro and the best beach, Ferraguado is only 5 minutes drive. The facilities in the villa were ideal and we wanted for nothing more. Highly recommended. C Hornsby
