The Algarve region

The climate of the Algarve is warm even in the winter months November to February. In March the spring flowers cover the cliff tops and the smell and sights are beautiful. The traditional fishing boats can take you for a trip inside the caves around the Carvoeiro area and you can also explore the beautiful beaches with secluded coves. Go on a cliff top walk and view the spectacular scenery or take a ride up to Monchique in the mountains, the historic town of Silves and Caldas where the water used to be bottled.

Carvoeiro / Central Carvoeiro area

Carvoeiro is a charming fishing village with a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops.
The beach is sheltered by high cliffs and can be reached easily with pushchairs. For the children is the Zoo Marine with its assortment of performing seals and dolphins a must! Slide and Splash and Krazy World are also in the near vicinity of Carvoeiro. There are two excellent 18 hole golf courses located just outside the village.

How to get there

Cheap flights from the UK to Faro airport are available from many local airlines, Easy Jet, Thomson Fly, BMI Baby to name but a few.
We can also arrange for very reasonably priced car hire arrangements or airport transfers.

It is not advisable to drink water from the tap in Portugal. CASA LEMA, your apartment, is the only one in this complex which has got its own unique drinking water system. From the little tap at the bottom of the big kitchen tap comes crystal clear drinking-water (capacity 10 litres per day). This not only saves you as guest money but also the chore of carrying heavy bottles of water during your stay!
The apartment is being kept immaculate and is looked after by a small management team who are continually "on hand" to assist you with any queries/problems during your stay.

The whole building has recently been painted and guests have the use of swimming pool (with children's pool) and tennis court.
The beach is a 5 minute walk away and easily accessible with pushchairs.

There is a surcharge for extra people in the high and peak season.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is necessary to confirm a booking, balance due eight weeks prior to arrival.
Euro 75,00 security deposit payable with balance, which is returned provided no loss or damage to the apartment or contents.
No pets allowed.
