About the home

Casa Pacata is set in beautiful established gardens. On entering the property straight ahead is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and to the right is the lounge and dining area. The lounge area has air conditioning, SAT TV, table football for the kids, wood burner and eating area with dining room chairs and table. There are patio doors that open up onto a terrace area. The other 2 bedrooms each contain twin beds and one set of beds can be zipped together to form a large double bed if required. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently refurbished.

Outside is a covered terrace area with teak table and chairs, also there is a small table and chairs overlooking the pool area. Through a gate and down a few steps is the swimming pool with terrace, sun loungers and shower. There are further terraces including a roof terrace which can be closed off and has lovely sea views. The property has a secluded garden with terrace and lawn area to the rear.

Quinta do Paraiso is a family resort which is open through the season April/May to October/November offering guests a reception area, restaurants, a mini mart, kids club, 3 swimming pools, tennis courts, PADI diving centre, crazy golf and various other recreational activities. Monte Carvoeiro is 5 minutes walk away with restaurants, bars and a mini mart. The property is 10 minutes walk from 2 beaches and also the same time from Carvoeiro town.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The weather is great most of the year (average yearly temperature 22.3C). April/May/October/November its in the lower 20sC, June/July/August/September upper 20sC - 35C or more. If you are lucky you can lay on the beach enjoying the sun on Christmas day.

The area is filled with history. Why not go and explore some of the beautiful villages and towns that Portugal has to offer. You can visit the most westerly point in Europe - Cape St Vincent, see the natural springs in the Monchique mountains, visit some of the town markets and by the way Lisbon is only 2.5 hours away by car for the those who want to go a bit further, or Spain at 1 hour away.

The Carvoeiro / Quinta do Paraiso area

The area is great for walking, whether on the cliff tops, by the sea or through the country. Carvoeiro offers Banks, shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment, beach, boat trips (to the Grottos). There is a restaurant and season facilities at Quinta do Parasio about 3 minute walk from the Villa. Most activities are close by, 3 golf courses, Horse riding, Tennis, 3 water parks in the area, shopping centres and more, see our website or contact us.

Coast/Beach
There are several pretty coved beaches in the area within 5-10 minutes drive including Centeannes and Carvoeiro. Wide sandy beaches are at Armacao De Pera Ferragudo & Praia Grande.

Golf
The 9 hole par 3 Vale do Milho golf course is within 4km and other more challenging courses are within 30 minutes drive. These include the Gramacho and Pinta courses on the Pestana complex, which are within a 5 minute drive. Championship courses include Vale da Pinta near Carvoeiro and the famous Penina course near Portimao. A golfers paradise.

Travel
Faro airport is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended to explore the general area but all local services are in Carvoeiro approx 10 minutes walk. Taxis are readily available

Attractions
Slide and Splash is 5 minutes drive and Zoomarine 20 minutes drive, just to mention a couple of the great attractions the Algarve has to offer.

Distances
Carvoeiro is about a 10 minute walk and the towns of Lagos, Silves & Portimao are up to 30 minutes drive. A leisurely day trip would include the Monchique mountains and Cape St Vincent with other areas of the western peninsula.

"Just to let you know that we had a lovely week at the villa Casa Pacata. The quality of the villa exceeded our expectations and the gated off area was great for our young kids. It was fully as described on the site and within easy reach of Carvoeiro. The Quinta do paraiso complex is great for families and we enjoyed the pools and the play areas. Very quiet at night which was perfect for us. The directions to the villa were good and the Villa was well maintained, clean and fully as described on the website.
