About the home

Casa Julian is a spacious, stylish Villa, set in its own delightful private garden. It is very well situated near the Tennis and fitness club, and a short walk from the cliffs. The centre of Carvoeiro, with its many restaurants and surrounding beaches, is a short drive away. There also a wide choice of golf courses in the area, the nearest just a short drive away.

Casa Julian comfortably accommodates six people, plus a junior bed and a cot. It benefits from hot and cold air conditioning and is very tastefully furnished with a fully modernised kitchen. The Villa is very spacious with many different areas to sit out and enjoy the glorious Algarve sun. The pool area (9m by 4m) is private and equipped with sun loungers and its own shower and toilet. The enclosed courtyard has a sheltered barbecue area perfect for al fresco dining.

The big feature of this house is the extra upstairs living/family room with beamed ceiling, wine leather sofas, radio and CD, cassette player and leading to the wonderful exterior sun terrace with south facing sea views.

The Villa also has services provided by Carvoeiro Clube including maid service on request, advice from Reception, and local Clinic.

The Villa has a spacious dining room and open fireplace which leads onto a very comfortable living-room with leather sofas, Sat TV, telephone, radio and cassette player.

The Dining room opens onto a lovely enclosed courtyard for al fresco dining with large barbecue.

The cheerful kitchen has been completely modernised with all built-in units . Washing machine, tumble drier and extra fridge in the maid´s pantry. All bedrooms on the ground floor.

Master double bedroom has access to pool area, and has a child's bed. In addition two sizeable twin bedrooms one with cot.

Two separate bathrooms with twin basins, bathtub and step-in shower unit. Guest toilet. Shower unit and toilet by the pool.

Fine colourful gardens with a large rectangular pool (9 x 4m), and shower unit and toilet housed near by. Nice wind-protected pool terrace with sun loungers.

Large first floor balcony, South facing, with a lovely seaview and overlooking the garden and surrounding area. Also a ground floor South facing smaller terrace ideal for breakfast in the morning sun.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve has many attractions to tempt those seeking sun and relaxation. There are numerous sandy beaches, which in the central and western areas, are framed by dramatic ochre sandstone cliffs. Fishing villages, such as Carvoeiro, Alvor and Ferrugudo, have been surrounded by villas often with private pools and gardens, but retain their seafood heritage by providing many excellent restaurants serving sardines, sea bass and clams.

Silves, with its medieval castle, and Lagos are historical towns of considerable charm and interest, and the mountains of the Monchique further inland offer quite a different experience. These hills provide stunning views of the Algarve coast and a lovely drive through orange groves and small traditional villages. Carvoeiro is an ideal central location to explore both the eastern and western Algarve, and the Monchique. Those interested in stylish traditional pottery will find plenty of choice.

The Carvoeiro / Carvoeiro Clube area

Carvoeiro nestles in tiny coves and valleys, surrounded by many mature low rise villas, often with beautiful mature gardens and pools. In town, the main beach is in the centre and easily accesible. The coast in both directions offers many more treats interms of lovely beaches with the back drop of majestic cliffs. In addition to the Tennis Club and Gym (near Casa Julian), there are several Waterparks (Zoomarine, Slide & Splash and The Big One) and numerous Golf courses.

Carvoeiro Clube is one of the Algarve's most celebrated tourist resorts. The imaginative architecture and landscaping, have rightfully earned Carvoeiro Clube an international reputation as a holiday destination.
The club enjoys a peaceful location and is about a 5 minute car drive away from the village of Carvoeiro. Casa Julian is a short walk from the cliffs with truly breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The beaches of Praia do Paraiso and Praia do Carvoeiro are a short drive away. Casa Julian is very close to the Carvoeiro Tennis Club and the fitness centre which offer all the facilities you need to improve your general health and enjoy your Algarve family holiday.

The nearby Carvoeiro (Pestana) Golf & Resort has 2 excellent courses and the renowned David Leadbetter Golf Academy. The par 3 Vale de Milho course is a favourite in the centre of Carvoeiro.

Faro airport is the only terminal serving the Algarve. A hire car is essential for getting the most out of your stay in the Algarve. There is a selection of international and local car hire companies at the airport. Alternatively there are always taxis available. To pre-book a taxi phone Associacao Taxistas tel 289 800860. The A22 is the main motorway on the coast and much preferred and safer than the older N125. Carvoeiro and Casa Julian are just a 40min drive from the airport and we will provide detailed instructions on the route..

Flights are widely available to Faro airport from all the low cost operators. The best way to book is via the internet well in advance for the really good deals.
