About the home

Delightful 2 Bed, 2 Bathroom ground floor apartment with private veranda overlooking two swimming pools. The south facing apartment enjoys a quiet, hill-top position within strolling distance of the many excellent restaurants for which Carvoeiro is renowned.
This well-loved apartment is family-owned and managed by a reputable British couple, who are on call 24/7. It is comfortably furnished and equipped and maintained to a very high standard. It is has been enjoyed by families and couples, many of whom have returned, or recommended us to friends.
There is a wood burning stove for your comfort during the cooler autumn and winter months.
No need for a car as there is an excellent local bus and taxi service, but plenty of off-road parking if you prefer to be independent.
Several good golf courses, tennis courts, riding and walking in the vicinity.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Central Algarve has a delightful warm, hot in the summer months, climate throughout the year. Spring comes early and winter is a time when many visitors arrive to avoid the chill of Northern Europe.

There are fascinating small towns to explore by car, or the excellent local transport. The Portugese are friendly and helpful, and the wine is excellent.

The Carvoeiro area

Monte Dourado is situated above the friendly town of Carvoeiro. There are tennis courts, horse riding, cliff top walks, boat trips to the many caves, sea fishing and, of course, excellent golf.

Carvoeiro has numerous good restaurants, several bars and good bus links to Lagoa, Monchique in the mountains, Ferragudo and Loule and Albufeira.
