This is a very comfortable apartment intended to make our guests feel at home. The owners use this property as a holiday home so it has a personal feel which guests can enjoy too.
Carvoeiro is a beautiful Portugese fishing village which still retains its charm. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance of the apartment, plus many activities including golf courses, tennis, fishing, horse riding and diving. A short drive away are 2 water parks, a zoo and aquarium. In the village there are many places where you can arrange car hire or book an excursion. There is a bus stop close by with a very good service to Portamao, Lagoa and Silves.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor of an apartment block located in the centre of Carvoeiro with only a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. There is a large south-facing balcony accessible from the living room, kitchen and the twin bedroom. A table, 4 chairs and 3 sunloungers are provided. At one end of the extensive balcony there is a built-in barbecue for those warm evenings when you just can't be bothered to go out! There is a very good market close to the apartment where you can purchase fresh fish, fruit and vegetables.
Cleaning is provided twice per week. Linen and bath towels provided (bring your own beach towels). The apartment block benefits from having a security system and lift. A reception area is close by where keys can be collected.
Cot and highchair hire available at Reception for an extra cost.
Internet access at Reception and also at the Internet cafe on the village.

The apartment benefits from a large shared pool and a small pool for toddlers - this area also has a sun terrace with shower and toilet facilities. There are 2 tennis courts available for guests use only and golfing facilities near by. For the walker, the clifftop views are spectacular and worth the effort of the walk up the hills on either side of the beach to see the view and the interesting rock formations.
There is a reception area on site with very helpful staff who have extensive knowledge of the area. They can tell you about markets, bus times, book taxis, and point you in the right direction to the local fish market.

Low Season long-lets available, please ask for more details. Also, electricity is extra for low season, payable weekly at reception. Short breaks of any duration available at a daily rate. Prices quoted are for up to 4 people sharing. Extra person charge of £25 may apply during high and peak seasons - . 20% deposit payable on booking confirmation, balance due eight weeks prior to arrival date.
Refundable Security deposit of £150, returned once an inspection of the property has been made.
Hire of cot and high chair available from Reception for 2 euros each per day

Carvoeiro has its own beautiful beach, but along the coast there are many other beaches to explore (most only accessible by car). Don't be put off by the prospect of driving in Portugal, the roads are well signposted and it's easy driving.
Monte Dourado is in the centre of Carvoeiro village, there are swimming pools and tennis courts on site and the beach is only 250 metres away - less than a 5 minute walk unless, that is, you get waylayed whilst looking at the shops and restaurant menus!
