About the home

This immaculate apartment is situated in the centre of Carvoeiro village and is a stone's throw from the two beaches at Carvoeiro, with all required facilities. Whether a first time visitor or regular traveller to Carvoeiro, all will appreciate the fantastic location of this property. The lounge, master bedroom and kitchen all have balconies facing the Atlantic ocean for enjoying a sunshine soaked breakfast or pre dinner drinks.
All furnishings throughout are new including the kitchen and bathroom fittings. The comfortable lounge has seating for five people, satellite tv, stereo and dvd. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles, both with built in wardrobes. There is a z bed available for a fifth person at a small additional charge per week. Please ask for details.
The main bathroom has a bath and shower and the second bathroom a walk in shower.

The entrance area of this apartment leads into the hallway, off which is situated the shower room. The bright and airy kitchen is fully equipped to meet your self catering needs and is brand new in 2011. There is a dining table with six chairs. The kitchen doorway leads onto a balcony facing the ocean.
The master bedrrom has a double bed and patio doors leading directly onto a balcony. Opposite the master bedroom is the main bathroom with a bath.
The lounge has seating for five, satellite tv, music system and dvd player. Patio doors.fill the room with natural light and lead onto another balcony.
The second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms and the lounge have electric security shutters.
Air conditioning units provide year round comfort.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve averages 3000 hours of sunshine each year, more than the Costa Brava, Majorca and the French Riveria. Places of interest to visit include the mountains of Monchique, Silves Castle and the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, which has many historical buildings.

The Carvoeiro / Central Carvoeiro area

Carvoeiro was a small fishing village which despite some development has maintained it's scenic appeal and is devoid of high rise buildings. It is extremely popular with famalies. It has two beaches, the main beach is a sandy golden beach cove from which jet skis and water sports equipment can be hired, together with parasols and sunbeds. Short boat trips can be taken to nearby caves and isolated beaches. The second beach Paraiso is smaller, but great for snorkelling.
Carvoeiro village has an abundance of restaurants, to suit all tastes and pockets, bars, cafes, banks, shops, chemist, post office, doctor's surgery and public transport facilities.
Two water parks are located within short drives and provide fun for the entire family. Zoo Marine, where you can swim with doplhins, a 20 minute drive is another great day out.
Many championship golf courses are nearby, including Gramacho and Penina, Vale de Milho, and 5 courses at Villamoura. Also the new Nick Faldo and Christe O'Conner courses are 15 minutes by car
Carvoeiro clube de Tenis has numerous tennis courts and gym facilities and two diving schools are located near Carvoeiro

Fly to Faro airport. Apartment Atlantico is a 45 minute drive from the airport in the seaside village of Carvoeiro.
Cheap flight to Faro are available from many local airlines including easyjet, monarch, thomson fly, bmi baby and more, departing from most regional uk airports.

“Terrific views with great facilities” Apartment Atlantico has everything you could want if you are looking for a relaxing base in a typical Algarve seaside village. The apartment is superbly equipped with two small balcony's which give amazing views out to sea and down to the towns main beach. The pretty town of Carvoeiro is a short walk away and offers superb restaurants and some nice shops to mooch in. Overall, a very well equipped and nicely decorated apartment at a very reasonable price. We would not hesitate to return!

“Great view” Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment, great location for beach, bars and restaurants yet at the same time very quiet, but the best thing is the view over the Atlantic ocean. The apartment was spotless and well equipped couldnt fault it.

“Just what we wanted” Everything that was advertised and photographed was exact. We were very pleased that liaising with the Manageress from start to finish was very efficient and made our booking very straight forward. Guidelines with information about the toll charges must be made clear if you are hiring a car and do not want to incur any charges after you leave the area, there is a 48 hr clearance before you are charged so we had to make sure that we did not use the motorway 2 days before we left!!! The system has not been thought out for travellers and visitors to the area by the government or local authority...(what a surprise)!
