The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Summer in the Algarve is from May to October, and the other months are not bad either! It is a great place for summer sun and even in August temperatures seldom get above 30 degrees. From December through March the orange trees are thick with fruit and the almond blossom in February with blue sky and green fields is a sight not to be missed. The winter nights are cool but it is possible to sit outside all the year to enjoy the sun.
The Carvoeiro / Carvoeiro Clube area
Historic Silves, the ancient Moorish capital of the region, is not far away. The huge cliffs at Cape St Vincent, the South West corner of Europe, and the Monchique mountains are less than an hour by car.
And there are lots of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets nearby, many within easy walking distance.
Two beaches are in walking distance and several others within ten minutes' drive by car.
All the family will love the nearby Slide and Splash water park
