These individually owned townhouses are situated in a rural, tranquil position enjoying splendid sea and countryside views from their roof terrace and spacious balconies, and are only metres from the large communal swimming pool and lush landscaped gardens. Each Superb Townhouse has had modernisation to the kitchen, bathroom or en suite, and have modern furnishings.
They all have Sky Free-to-air TV.
Just 5 minutes walking distance from the heart of this lively little fishing town, Colina Branca is the perfect base for your holiday on the beautiful Algarve, with local bars, restaurants, tennis courts, supermarkets and beaches only minutes away, in addition to Pestana Golf Centre being a few minutes' driving distance.
The large elegant living/dining room is furnished to a high standard, with patio doors to the fantastic terrace ideal for al-fresco dining or lounging in the glorious sunshine.
Bedroom one boasts the luxury of an en-suite shower room, and has it's very own private balcony. Bedroom 2 is ideally located adjacent to the family bathroom, and also has a balcony of it's own. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Internet connection is available via a Pay-as-you-go wifi router.
NOTE: Prices quoted are for up to 4 people. Additional guests can be accommodated, and will be charged at an additional £25 per person, per week.
Car hire is recommended, and each townhouse has a car port for your use. For those not wishing to drive,we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation. Each house has either Freeview satellite or cable TV.

Living Rooms - Large living room and dining area combined. Sofa sitting and large dining table. They all have Sky Free-to-air TV, and radio. Log burner. Patio doors leading to sheltered South facing sun terrace with sea view, additional dining table and chairs, and sun loungers.
Kitchen - Fully appointed kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, and storage cupboards.
Bedrooms - One bedroom comprising one double or two single beds, en-suite shower room and sliding patio doors to small balcony. One further bedroom comprising either one double or twin beds, with sliding patio doors to small balcony, situated next to family bathroom. Some of the townhouses have a third bed in one of the bedrooms, or a sofa bed.
In some of the townhouses, there is also a windowless bedroom having an additional one or two beds. This room is suitable only for children.
All houses comfortably sleep up to 4 adults. Some of the townhouses sleep an additional one or two persons, but please note the additional sleeping arrangements are for children. These houses are not suitable for 6 adults.
Bathroom - En-suite shower room to bedroom 1, plus a family bathroom.
Other - Additional bed/s for sleeping, by prior arrangement. Store room ideal for games equipment and empty suitcases. Ironing board and iron.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service - Linen and bath towels are included in rental costs. These are changed twice a week when the villa is cleaned.
Both bedrooms 1 and 2 have their own terraced patio areas. The roof terrace offers privacy and an excellent spot to sunbathe or simply watch the sun go down over the Atlantic. The living room terrace is sheltered and South facing, with a superb view over Carvoeiro and the ocean. Colina Branca has its own private landscaped gardens in addition to the communal swimming pool. The gardens and pool areas are all lit at night. Please note there is no swimming permitted after 8pm.

The Algarve region
There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Carvoeiro, within 5 minutes drive are Praia de Marina, Benagil, Caravalho, Albandeira. Centianes beach is approx. 15 minutes walk away.
The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.
Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive. Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.
Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Care hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro. The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes' drive.
The nearest big supermarket to Colina Branca is Intermarche – only 3 or 4 minutes' drive away. This offers a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats and fish and just about everything else you will need to make your holiday easier. However, there is a small supermarket (and off-licence) just 3 or 4 minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro for all emergency essentials and fresh bread and pastries. Cash point machines and banks are available in Carvoeiro.

As a small family business we look after a few villas in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the villa before your arrival. We meet and greet you, and provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the villa.
Baby cot and high chair are provided by prior arrangement. We also have reliable English babysitters who will care for your children during the daytime or evening if you should require some time without the kids! Please ask for details.

"Chill out holiday"
House was clean and reasonably easy to find. It was a 20 minute walk to the beach but was on a steep hill. The pool was a few minutes walk away and very good. Directions from airport were very good. T… More

Regarding the lounge sliding door…. The lounge is up on the first floor and it's not possible for anyone to climb up there from outside. The lounge door has not locked for the best part of 10 years but with the piece of timber it's impossible to open from outside and the house has never been burgled, so security is not an issue. The walk into town is easier up the steps than up the hill, granted. Maybe you should have tried that route. I do the walk most days and it only takes me 5 or 6 minutes, however I'm quite young (53) and fit so I like a brisk walk. The white plastic terrace furniture gets replaced regularly. Owing to there not being anywhere to store the furniture away in the winter, this type of furniture is suitable considering it has to stay on the terrace all year round, and no-one has complained about it before. We were unaware that the bathroom door does not lock and will get it fixed this week. Since the loss of the BBC/ITV satellite in southern Europe, unlike most rented accommodation locally, the house does have UK internet TV with many channels, and it has a fast broadband internet connection, so it does have some big plusses. Overall the Colina Branca townhouses, with their large sun terraces and superb view of the sea are a bit special as they provide reasonably priced accommodation for somewhere so close to the centre of town and many of our guests return year after year.
