Home description
Entrance into lounge/dining area with doors to balcony and views of the sea and countryside. There is a good sized living/dining area with seating for 4 people and a log fire for heating in the winter months. Off the lounge is a kitchen which is fully equipped, including dishwasher and washing machine.
Downstairs is the two twin bed bedrooms, which one enjoys an en-suite shower room and the other has a shower room next door (both have toilets and basins). A sofa bed upstairs in the living area can accommodate a further two persons (this is not shown in the pictures). The bedrooms downstairs open up onto a terrace with a BBQ and tiled seating area. Outside on the terrace is also sunbeds and a table and chairs, this is a good size for outdoor needs.
The property shares a nice sized swimming pool with terraces and sunbeds, although it is a communal pool, this is a small complex and a number of the properties have people living there full time and during the day they are at work, hence do not use the pool.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The weather is great most of the year (average yearly temperature 22.3C). April/May/October/November its in the lower 20sC, June/July/August/September upper 20sC - 35C or more. If you are lucky you can lay on the beach enjoying the sun on Christmas day.
The area is filled with history. Why not go and explore some of the beautiful villages and towns that Portugal has to offer. You can visit the most westerly point in Europe - Cape St Vincent, see the natural springs in the Monchique mountains, visit some of the town markets and by the way Lisbon is only 2.5 hours away by car for the those who want to go a bit further, or Spain at 1 hour away.
Carvoeiro area
The area is great for walking, whether on the cliff tops, by the sea or through the country. Carvoeiro offers Banks, shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment, beach, boat trips (to the Grottos). Most activities are close by, Golf, Horse riding, Tennis, 3 water parks in the area, shopping centres and more, see our website or contact us.
Coast/Beach Within 1km there are two beaches, Carvoeiro and Centeannes. There are several pretty coved beaches in the area within 5 minutes drive. Wide sandy beaches are at Armacao De Pera Ferragudo & Praia Grande.
Golf The 9 hole par 3 Vale do Milho golf course is within 2km and other more challenging courses are within 30 minutes drive. These include the Gramacho and Pinta courses on the Pestana complex. Championship courses include Vale da Pinta near Carvoeiro and the famous Penina course near Portimao. A golfers paradise.
Travel Faro airport is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended to explore the general area but all local services are in Carvoeiro approx 5 minutes walk. Taxis are readily available
Distances Carvoeiro is about a 5 minute walk and the towns of Lagos, Silves & Portimao are up to 30 minutes drive. A leisurely day trip would include the Monchique mountains and Cape St Vincent with other areas of the western peninsula.
