About the home

The apartment complex is located on a hillside overlooking the town of Carvoeiro.

The complex itself incorporates a large outdoor swimming pool with separate children's pool surrounded by a grassed area for sunbathing, there is also a fully fenced children's playground

Only 2 minutes walk away you find yourself in the quaint old fishing village of Carvoeiro with its many restaurants and bars offering full entertainment for adults and children alike. Car hire is not necessary as there are several small supermarkets within the village and 3 large supermarkets only a short taxi drive away

Pinta, Gramacho, Vale de Milho (9 Hole) and Amendoeira golf courses are all within a 10 to 15 minute drive.

This stunning duplex apartment has it's main entrance on the ground floor which leads into an entrance hall, there are two bedrooms off the entrance hall, the double has an en suite jacuzzi bath with shower over and the twin has an en suite shower room. A marble staircase then leads down to the main living area comprising of an extensive lounge (complete with double sofa bed), a spacious dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table and chairs and a downstairs cloak/shower room.

The apartment sleeps 4 spaciously, 6 comfortably with the addition of a large sofa bed in the lounge. The two single beds in the bedroom can be made into a double.

Each bedroom terrace has a table with 2 chairs and there is an outside dining table with 4 chairs on the terrace leading off the lounge/kitchen.

All bed linen and bathroom towels are included, for all 2 week stays a brief clean, towel and linen change will also be provided.

Whilst the apartment has perfect access to the pool facilities on site, it also has the advantage of having the private garden at the opposite side of the property giving more privacy.

20% non-refundable deposit required to secure dates, remainder monies due 8 weeks prior to your stay. We also ask for a 150 Pound refundable breakages/damages deposit payable with the balance, this is refunded within 10 days of your check out.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Most people who come for an Algarve holiday will head for a destination in the Central Algarve. This is probably because the this area of the Algarve is the most commercialised and geared up for the ‘tourist’. It has the largest concentration of hotels and apartments in the country and a selection of sporting and leisure activities to suit everyone.

Whether you are heading for a coastal destination or inland this area has much to offer, visit any of it's numerous beautiful beaches or head inland to towns such as Silves where you will learn some of the history which has made this part of Portugal so popular over the last few decades.

For the kids visit the water parks or Zoomarine for an experience they will take home with them!

The Carvoeiro / Central Carvoeiro area

Carvoeiro is a pretty, old traditional fishing village. It is about 15 km east of Portimão and 58 km west of Faro airport .It has actually grown over the last 15 - 20 years to accomodate holidaymakers who love this area of Portugal but not so much that it doesn't maintain some of it's charms,

The village centres around the main square and beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants surrounding it and in the summer free entertainment is on offer here which makes Carvoeiro ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday but it also has something to offer for those wanting a bit of nightlife.

Without moving too far from Carvoeiro you will find many beautiful beaches and coves such as Praia de Carvalho, Benagil and Marinha to the East and Caneiros and Pintadinho to the West.

“Excellent apartment in lovely location” The apartment is beautifully presented and very well equipped. The location is fantastic as it is only a few minutes walk into the town which has a great range of bars and restaurants. As others have said it is at the top of a steep hill so might be difficult for some. We would not hesitate to recommend the apartment!

“Excellent apartment in a great location” Accommodation is of an excellent standard with everything you need for your stay. It is extremely spacious and spotlessly clean. Excellent location being only a 5 minute walk down a steep hill to the centre of the village and beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants which are very family friendly. Plenty of places to visit and excellent beaches close by. Hope to return.

“Quiet well appointed accommodation” At top of a fairly steep slope which could be a problem for less mobile guests unless they have a car. The apartment was on a development of similar homes recently built. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay including dish washer and washing machine and there was ample crockery, cuttlery etc. We had an exceptional and relaxing stay.
