About the home

This stylish 3/4 bed fully air conditioned apartment is on two floors, separated by a spiral staircase leading from the lounge. Extremely spacious (217 Sq Metres), this apartment has been stylishly decorated by the owners. The ground floor consists of the lounge, with open-plan dining area, a twin bedroom, the fully fitted kitchen with separate utility room, and a shower room. Outside the front door there is a huge sun terrace where guests can relax on the provided sun beds, and participate in some 'al fresco' dining with table and chairs provided. For entertainment the lounge has a 37 inch Samsung LCD TV with Freesat channel viewing and DVD with small library of films.
Upstairs to the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, one with king sized bed, one double and one single room. All have fitted wardrobes and air conditioning apart from the single bedroom, where there is a stand-alone wardrobe and fan. Accessed via both of the double bedrooms through patio doors, is the upper sun terrace where guests can sunbathe in total privacy. This area is not overlooked by anything or anyone. Please note that in July and August, we take a maximum of 6 guests. Any other months up to 7 guests.

The interior has been decorated to a high standard in a colourful design, with each bedroom in a specific colour scheme. The seating in the lounge is provided by a beautiful L shaped ivory leather settee unit . A 37 inch Samsung LCD TV, with SKY Freesat connectivity and a DVD player is also supplied for guests entertainment.
The kitchen has been equipped with everything the owners could think of and we constantly ask guests if there is anything additional we could supply. We now think we have got it right !

Further details outdoors:
A 1 minute walk is all it takes to arrive at the private condominium's swimming pool. Only guests of the condominium apartments (15 in total, a low no. for Carvoeiro) are permitted to use the pool. The pool has a cascade water overflow and the water is hygienically treated twice weekly by a pool hygienist.
If you hire a car, which is really not necessary unless you are intending to sightsee around the Algarve, you have your own private parking space.

Conditions

To seal a booking, we require 25% deposit of the amount to be paid. We then require the balance plus a breakages and damages deposit 2 calendar months prior to arrival.
Entry on day of arrival is 1400 and exit on departure is 1000 to allow for the clean up.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

There are many places of interest accessible by a short drive from Carvoeiro. There is Silves only 10/15 mins drive away with it's historic castle and where a marina is soon to be built. The beauty of the mountains of Monchique and the mountain top of Foia is also a beauty area. If you have an hour plus to spare, drive to the Atlantic coast area where, just west of Aljezur you will find breathtaking cliff-top views that you will still be talking about when you arrive home. Zambujeira do Mar and Clerigo are beautiful small villages with beaches and much untouched by tourism.
Sagres is about an hour or so drive to the South West. Witness the fabulous beach and surf here and if you have a big piece of fibreglass on you, try it yourself.

The Carvoeiro area

Carvoeiro is a small village which still maintains some of it's past charm with it's character buildings and evidence of it's former fishing industry. With a beach in the centre, a multitude of bars and restaurants catering for all tastes, pharmacies, shops, internet cafes, banks, Carvoeiro has something for everyone.
There are a huge amount of golf courses nearby, the closest of which is the 9 hole Vale de Milho. It has an excellent small restaurant and balcony overlooking the course. Within 20 mins drive, are 3 championship 18 hole courses.
There are 2 Aqua fun parks (Slide & Splash, Aqualand), plus Zoomarine where one can swim with dolphins and watch aqua shows, within 20 mins drive. Scenic flights around the Algarve in a light aircraft, piloted by a British pilot are also on offer and a very inexpensive rate. (up to 3 persons).

A multitude of airlines now fly into Faro from regional and international airports in UK and from many others in Europe. On arrival a 40 minute journey by road gets you into the heart of Carvoeiro. Car hire and/or airport transfers can be arranged on request. This property is very central, only 5 minutes walk into the Centre of Carvoeiro, therefore a hire car or taxis are not necessary for your evenings out and beach trips.

We spent 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year in this delightful town. The apartment was very clean, and comfortable and had every appliance you could ever need - including a nice large quality TV (a big bonus) with English freeview channels - it is also very secure. The air conditioning kept us nice and warm and we slept well in the comfy beds. Peter was extremely friendly, helpful and considerate - a nice man. The weather was a vast improvement over UK and the roads were quiet.
The apartment is in a superb location for convenience for the numerous cafes,shops and restaurants in Carvoeiro (about 5 minute stroll) and yet is quiet at night. The beach is picture postcard lovely and we thought that Carvoeiro was the nicest town in the region with masses of character and friendly people. We hired a car and toured around the area though in the summer you may not need one.
The walks along the clifftops in both directions are breathtaking and good excercise!
We would recommend this apartment highly.

This is a very nice apartment to stay in, I would highly recommend it. The owner arranged transport to and from the airport which was excellent, as the friendly driver took us straight there helped us in and made sure we were happy before he left. The apartment itself was clean and well maintained, everything described was there. The location is close to the village square with plenty of shops and restaurants. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool.

This property is extremely well appointed and decorated; we couldn't recommend it highly enough. VERY spacious, it comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 2 children with another bed and cot to spare.
Never needed the air conditioning due to the pleasant cool breeze we always seem to get on the coast of Portugal and that was in late August.
All amenities are very close by; with the central square of Carvoeiro only five minutes walk away. There are some excellent restaurants and bars with several sandy coves within easy reach.
We had cars but to be honest we really didn't need to bother, even the water park is only a short bus/taxi drive away. I think we used it twice in two weeks!!
We even had the pool to ourselves for the second week :-)
Give Peter a ring, you won’t be disappointed.

All rates above are per week and based on 6 persons. 7th person is an additional 8% of base price each. Cot and high chair are free of charge, but a baby is treated as 1 person if over 6 in no.

Method of payment can either by by direct bank transfer or by cheque through the post.

Full air conditioning (also for heating) is available for an additional cost of 30 pounds per week to cover electricity. Please note that in July and August max is 6 persons for the apartment.
