The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Ferruguda with all its many restaurants, bars and cafes, is located in the centre of the Algarve about 15 minute drive. With its quaint cobbled streets and main square,you can relax over a drink & watch the world go by.

Portimão, a large neighbouring town, offers a variety of fashionable shops, a large shopping centre, nightlife & lots of entertainment.
Day trips can be booked, such as exploring beautiful sea caves, fishing or a river trip to Silves where you can visit its famous Castle.
The Lagoa region offers many fine wineries.
The Carvoeiro area
The fishing village of Carvoeiro is approximately 5 minutes drive away .
It is midway along the Algarvian coast, approximately 45 minutes from Faro Airport and is renowned for its sandy beach together with its many shops, fine restaurants and bars.
Over the last number of years whilst still holding on to its traditional charm the village has grown into a holiday resort catering for a wide range of cosmopolitan traveller..
Golfers are spoilt for choice with two 18 hole Championship golf courses at the Pestana Resort - Pinta & Gramacho together with a number of other first class golf courses within a10 minute drive,

we have been coming to the area for many years and as usual were not disappointed with our accomadation. the facilities were of an extremely high standard and the staff on site very helpful at all times.you also have the use of the sister resort just a few 100metres away. we think a car is essntial as taxi prices to the village do vary.the apt is situated in a good location to visit other little towns in the vicinity. |
