The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quiets down in the dead of winter. Even then, there are many days when it is warm and sunny enough to sunbathe or sit outside at the pavement cafes and enjoy the balmy weather.
Carvoeiro area
Quinta do Rosal is located in Vale d'El Rei between Porches and Carvoeira. It is a 5 – 8 minute drive to the supermarket, stunning beaches of Praia da Marinha, Praia Albandeira and Benagil, and Carvoeiro; a vibrant and popular tourist village wtih restaurants, shops and bars lining the cobbled streets.
The resort is a great base from which to explore quaint fishing villages such as Ferragudo; the pottery and handicraft centre of Porches and the medieval hill-top town of Silves, with its ancient castle. There are golf courses, water parks and many other activities in the area. 45 Minutes from Faro Airport.
How to get there
Faro Airport is 40 minutes away. Airport transfers can be arranged at a total one-way price of £30/€40 for 1 - 4 guests. Car hire can be booked at highly competitive rates.
