The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve has a round year mild climate with approximately 300 days of sun making it perfect for summer and winter holidays.
Carvoeiro was once an old fisherman's town and today still retains much of it's beauty and typical Algarvian buildings. In keeping with this past, most buildings are restricted to 2 story's high helping it retain it's feeling of the old Portuguese lifestyle.

With a short 400m walk of the villa is a tennis and sports club.
Within 3km of the villa are two famous18 hole golf courses - Gramacho and Pinta and a 9 hole golf course. Being so central, there are also many more within 20 to 30 minutes drive.
The area offers many water sports in high season as well as 2 diving schools for the more adventurous.
There are many beaches to be appreciated close to Carvoeiro and taking one of the boat trips in an old fisherman's boat allows you to take in the rugged and breathtaking cliff formations and many smuggles caves along the coastline. Take a picnic and visit one of the beaches only accessible by boat - a memorable day! If you like to walk then there are many cliff walks allowing you to take in the natural stunning coastline - watch the sun set with a bottle of wine!
If shopping is your thing then Portimao with it's streets steeped in history is a must. Spend the day and eat at the typical restaurants along the river front.
Within 10 minutes drive you find yourself in "Silves", the Algarve's original capital which still retains much of it's "Moorish" history with it's castle, palace, bridges and boat trips.
Also within a 15 minute drive is Algarve Shopping with every shop you need under one roof.
There are 2 Aqua fun parks (Slide & Splash, Aqualand), plus Zoomarine where one can swim with dolphins and watch aqua shows, within 20 mins drive. Scenic flights around the Algarve in a light aircraft, piloted by a British pilot are also on offer and a very inexpensive rate. (up to 3 persons).
Within 30 minutes drive you can be investigating Lagos, Albufeira or the Monchique mountains.
Further afield you can visit the South Westerly point of Europe - Sagres.

How to get there
There are numerous airlines flying into Faro from regional and international airports in the UK and from many others in Europe. Carvoeiro is approximately 45 minutes journey via the A22 main motorway. Car hire and/or airport transfers can be arranged, please request details should this be of interest. The property is very central, only 5 minutes by car or a 20 minute walk into the Centre of Carvoeiro.

Further details indoors: The fully fitted kitchen has all the facilities you need including a breakfast table, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. The lounge area is large with patio windows leading out onto the terraces with views to the pool and sea beyond. Within the lounge there is also a dining area with table suitable for seating 8 to 10 people.
The three double bedrooms all have bathrooms en-suite with the main bedroom, having a double bed, has it's own terrace area overlooking the pool with views to the sea. The other two bedrooms have two single beds each.
Further details outdoors: There are plentiful terraces surrounding the pool area with an outside shower. The gardens are mature with an area for children to play which includes a climbing frame.
The villa is private and fully fenced with lockable gates at the entrance.
Access to the villa is excellent.
Conditions
On confirmation of your booking a 30% deposit will be required by bank transfer. The remainder monies will become payable 4 weeks prior to your holiday.
A refundable breakages deposit of €100 is required on arrival and will be refunded on your departure (subject to a satisfactory property inspection and return of keys).
