Casa Figo is classified as unsuitable for children only due to the height of the wall.
Casa do Figo (sleeps up to 11) is a newly refurbished cottage situated in Vilarinha a beautiful and completely un spoilt tiny village, which is still home to a traditional working farm. Vilarinha is within a few minutes drive from the well known surfing beach Amado and the lagoon surrounded by sand dunes Bordeira. The famous golf course of Parque Floresta (discounts offered) is just a 15 minute drive. Carrapateira is 3 km.
The property has been renovated lovingly using traditional materials and local craftsmen who have sympathetically restored this old property maintaining as many original features as possible.
Casa do Figo has 4 large bedrooms with twin or Kind beds and sleeps 11 comfortably. It also has 2 sofa beds with French doors leading out onto the terrace.
There are 3 bathrooms. 2 of them have a bath with a fixed shower over the bath and a WC and basin and the 3rd bathroom has a free standing shower.
2 kitchens one being large with a farmhouse table and open fire both are fully equipped each with a fridge/freezer, dish washer, micro oven, grill, coffee maker and washing machine. There are 2 sitting rooms with open fires. They have DVD’s, Cable TV, CD’s, books and games. In addition ther is under floor heating.

Conditions
A refundable security/damage deposit is required to secure your booking and full payment is due within 12 weeks of arrival. Please also note that a surcharge may be applied for all bookings that are less than a week.
Deposit: £450 or Euro500.
The property is strictly no smoking and we do not allow pets.
The Algarve / West Algarve region
The West Algarve tends to be very hot and dry during the summer months and cooler from October through to March.
These are the months with higher rain fall, but it allows the beautiful region to become very lush during the spring months. Vilarinha is set amidst a Nature Reserve which is a conservation area and is heavily protected from development.
The Carrapateira / Vilarinha area
This is an ideal spot for nature lovers. With rolling hillsides and rivers on your doorstep and just 3 -4 km down a country track to the sand dunes surrounding a wonderful lagoon & other beautiful beaches. 2 Good surfing schools & numerous popular surfing beaches are within easy reach as well as deserted coves.
Vilarinha is wonderful for walkers, has fantastic bird life & beautiful & I’m told unique flowers.
The local village of Carapeteria 3km offers shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and a market, other nearby towns and villages offer more lovely restaurants and shopping too.
