Casa Verde is a newly refurbished cottage situated in Vilarinha a beautiful and completely unspoilt tiny village, which is still home to a traditional working farm. Vilarinha is within a few minutes drive from the well known surfing beach Amado and the lagoon surrounded by sand dunes Bordeira. The famous golf course of Parque Floresta (discounts offered) is just a 15 minute drive. Carrapateira is 3 km.
This property has been renovated lovingly using traditional materials and local craftsmen who have sympathetically restored this old cottage maintaining as many original features as possible, including a natural well (covered but safely glazed) . The Cottage is light, spacious & comfortably furnished with everything you could wish for. Perfect for a summer or winter memorable holiday. Log fire, underfloor heating, 2 Bedrooms 2 bathrooms, Living room and beautifully fitted Kitchen Dining room. Books, Games, Dvds, Cabel, & Hi Fi. The Algarve / West Algarve region
West Algarve tends to be very hot and dry during the summer months and cooler from October through to March.
These are the months with higher rain fall, but it allows the beautiful region to become very lush during the spring months. Vilarinha is set amidst a Nature Reserve which is a conservation area and is heavily protected from development.
Carrapateira / Vilarinha area
This is an ideal spot for nature lovers. With rolling hillsides and rivers on your doorstep and just 3 -4 km down a country track to the sand dunes surrounding a wonderful lagoon & other beautiful beaches. 2 Good surfing schools & numerous popular surfing beaches are within easy reach as well as deserted coves. Vilarinha is wonderful for walkers, has fantastic bird life & beautiful & I’m told unique flowers.
The local village of Carapeteria offers Shops, Restaurants, Cafes, bars and a market, other nearby towns and villages offer more lovely restaurants and shopping too.

Further details indoors: Approached from the terrace overlooking the valley, Casa Verde benefits from an open plan living/dining room kitchen. Fully equipped to the highest standard.
Small hall leading bedroom over looking the valley which can either be made in a king bed or accommodate 2 twins, with built in cupboard with TV/DVD inside. One standard double in 2 beautifully fitted bedrooms along with 1 bathroom and 1 shower room en-suite.
We like to think that Casa Verde offers very special accommodation for 4 people.The upstairs bedroom with a lovely original stone wall has its own small private terrace, again accessed by french doors.
The upper landing is glazed offering a lovely view of the open plan downstairs and allowing daylight to flood the whole house.
The cottage had been fitted out with thought and care, taking into account all you may need to make your holiday comforable. You will also notice art work which has been produced specifically for the cottage depicting local scenes and natural life.
Further details outdoors: Casa Verde is approached by steps which lead directly onto the outside terrace, the outside area is mainly to the front of the cottage where there is plenty of space for alfresco eating and relaxing. This has subtle lighting at night and is perfect setting to watch the sun go down after a relaxing or hectic day. Sunloungers are provided.

Conditions
£300.00 refundable security/damage deposit is required to secure your booking and full payment is due within 12 weeks of arrival. Please also note that a surcharge may be applied for all bookings that are less than a week.
