The living area has a comfortable sofabed and armchair and a bar separates the kitchen from the living area. The well equipped kitchen has a halogen hob and full cooker etc. The living room opens onto a patio with dining furniture, deckchairs and BBQ. All rooms have views across to the hills.

The holiday accommodation has its own garden but guests have unrestricted access to the owners' large garden with its little fountain, flowerbeds and shady areas. Use of the pool and pool house is completely unrestricted. There are loungers round the pool and comfortable seating in the pool house.

Le Vallat is suitable for people with limited mobility although there is one small step up to the patio and one into the property .
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Vaucluse region
Mediterranean climate of blue skies and hot sun. The area is steeped in Roman and Medieval history, with the cities of Avignon, Aix, Nimes,Arles and Vaison la Romaine, only a short drive away. The area is famous for its wine, principally Côtes du Rhône and Côtes de Ventoux. Excellent restaurants are in abundance. Delightful markets. Beautiful countryside dominated by vineyards, cherry orchards and lavender fields and of course Mont Ventoux, the giant of Provence.
The Carpentras / Mormoiron area
Carpentras is the nearest town and is well known for its vast Friday market. Within a few minutes drive are numerous interesting provençal villages - Pernes les Fontaines, Isle sur Sorgue, Fontaines de Vaucluse - the list is endless.
Excellent area for walking, cycling,wine tasting or just relaxing. The village of Mormoiron has restaurants, café,
shops and services. The lake is just ten minutes walk from the village and has a small restaurant. Bikes can be hired locally.
