About this location
The Cornwall region
Being located in the middle of West Cornwall means a short drive to either the North or South Coasts with their varied attractions. The South Coast offers quiet estuaries and fishing coves perfect for crabbing or taking a ferry ride across Falmouth bay to have a cream tea in St Mawes. The gardens of the Helford river have banana trees and tropical plants growing down to the waters edge. The North Coast has miles of open beaches, sand dunes and rocky coves. Hire surfboards or walk the cliff paths. Lands End, St Ives and Padstow all make great days out. The Henry Lloyd Falmouth Week, (9th - 18th August)offers some great sailing and shore side entertainment. Explore the mining heritage and fantastic play park at 'Heartlands'. Hire bikes and cycle the Bissoe Trail, see old tin mines and engine houses as you cycle from coast to coast.
The Great British Summer might have a few damp days (!) to enjoy the Eden Project or The Maritime Museum, try indoor climbing or the soft play centre- there are many things to experiance.
Caddy's Corner is approximately eight acres of ancient fields bounded by old Cornish hedges. We are tucked away in a peaceful rural spot surrounded by common land with no road noise or light pollution you can enjoy quiet, expansive views by day and star gaze at night. Watch the rabbits and spot the fox, a white barn owl shows his face on occasion too.
Stithians lake offers bike hire and a fully equipped water sports centre. The Stithians Agricultural Show on the 15 July is fab for all!
