A bright and airy family lodge set in a quiet attractive area of the site. Sit back and relax in the large comfy leather sofas; read your book or watch your favourite programme.

A fully fitted kitchen to satisfy the most discerning cooks self-catering needs, complete with adjoining dining area.

Two good sized bedrooms offering a fitted master bedroom with ensuite shower room and a twin bedroom all with full sized beds. The additional 3 piece showeroom.

Whilst on the balcony you will be able to observe the vast array of local wildlife from the friendly ducks to the geese in flight.

The lodge benefits from gas central heating and double glazing.

Electric and gas are included in the rental fee, personal towels are provided upon your arrival.

The surrounding area encompasses picturesque AONB countryside and a stone's throw from the breath-taking cliff paths of Morecambe Bay. The lodge is situated to the north of Carnforth bordering two outstanding counties; Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria .Each border just two miles away allows easy access to places of interest such as Ingleton Falls, Inglebrough cave, Kendal, Lancaster castle and Windermere.

The lodge is a very special place for us and we do not wish to start taking damage deposits. We trust that you will treat our lodge with respect and we ask that you will leave the lodge in the condition you found it.

Although we understand that accidents can happen we request that you do everything possible to minimize any permanent damage and report the matter immediately.

For a small charge guest can have full access to all the leisure facilities; 1 day family pass - £10 (2 adults & 3 children), 1 day couple pass - £8.50 (age 16+), 1 day child pass - £3.00 (age 5-15 years).

When weather records were published Morecambe bay held the record for the most sunshine & highest temperature for the district

From here you will be able to explore some of the finest unspoilt scenery in Britain, much of which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We are on the border of the Lake District National Park, The Yorkshire Dales, Morecambe Bay, The Forest of Bowland, The Lune Valley, Arnside and Silverdale.

Nearby is the well known RSPB Bird Reserve at Leighton Moss, home to the rare and elusive Bittern, whilst the historic City of Lancaster and the market town of Kendal are but a short journey of about 10 miles.

Carnforth

You’ll be spoiled for choice!! Set off from the lodge along the canal or follow the main footpaths. Walk parts of the coastal way taking in Arnside village don't miss Arnside Knott, Warton Cragg and Silverdale, areas of natural outstanding beauty. Or take to the lovely lanes from the village by bike or car to the Crook o Lune and walk along the river Lune or some paths in the Forrest of Bowland another area of natural outstanding beauty. Bring your fell boots the Southlakeland fells are 15 minutes away. Cycles can be hired from Budgie bikes Carnforth NEW WATER BUS on the Lancaster Canal get on at the Canal Turn Pub at Carnforth go one stop or all the way to Lancaster (3Hrs) return by the same or bus /train (or hire bikes from the water Bus advance bookings please to avoid disappointment)

Fishing in leisure village lake well stocked with trout carp,or nearby Villas lake Borwick Waters The Lancaster Canel or Morecambe bay.

Books and Maps of the area and what is on are available in the Lodge please feel free to use them while you are on holiday there.

Warton village connections with George Washington. Paint ball hire at Warton.

Carnforth Station famous filming location of Brief Encounter has been restored in 2003. Tea room and museum take you back in time.

Two working farms can be visited Docker farm towards Kirby Lonsdale and Home Farm on the way to Kendal where you can see the cows being milked and bye local farm produce and gifts.

Surf the Turf the latest mountain boarding just 1 mile from the lodge.

Water sking wind surfing banana boat rides canoes are available to hire at the adjoining Pine Lake Resort.

Scuba Diving and equippedment hire and instructions are available at Capenwray Quarry features sunken wreks etc.approx one mile from the lodge

Golf courses within 5 -20 miles at Casterton,Silverdale, Morecambe,

Heysham, Lancaster, Kendal, Bowness, and two at Grange -over-Sands.

All these golf courses are set in beautiful locations with wonderful views.

Kendal is the local market town.
