Home description
Luxurious and spacious with fantastic state of the art 7 seater hydrotherapy hot tub with 64 high pressure jets and mood changing lights on the decking. With extensive windows around the main living area the lodge offers panoramic views of the lake & surounding hills. Patio doors lead from the lounge straight onto the large decked area with patio furniture & large gas barbeque. The lodge has a large open plan lounge/dining area & kitchen with all the latest built in appliances(dishwasher, microwave, range oven, fridge & freezer) and soft closing doors. In the lounge there is a large wallmounted LCD T.V, with freeview over the fireplace and DVD player. Black leather sofa corner unit & a glass dining table that sits 4 people. The master suite has a double bed. Walk through wardrobes/dressing area, en-suite bathroom and flat screen TV with freeview. The second bedroom has 2 x 3ft single beds, wardrobes and flat screen TV with freeview. Large family bathroom with over the bath shower. The lodge is fully central heated and double glazed. The large lake can be used by all guests for non motorised craft and fly fishing for trout. As guests you will have free use of the leisure facilities with the 4 complimentary passes. For the children there is a sandy cove to play in or paddle in the lake. With the lodge being situated in the lake district there is something to do for everyone

The Cumbria/Lake District
What can you say about the Lake District that people don't already know. This is one of the most beautiful places in England with great scenery & many attractions to visit. Visit Wast Water voted Britain's favourite view, take a boat ride on Lake Windermere. Take a ride on the Haverthwaite to Lakeside steam train traversing through the hills. For the more energetic there are fabulous walks for example in Grizedale forest or water sports on offer. With some fantastic castles including Muncaster & large stately homes such as Levens Hall to visit you could come back to the lakes year after year and discover something new. Visit the lake district tourist information website for a more comprehensive list of activities. The Lodge has a comprehensive guide of places to visit in the Lakes, Lancashire and Yorkshire Dales to browse at your leisure.
Carnforth area
Carnforth is small town but with lots of intresting things to do. The old train station has been restored to bring it back to its glory days of steam & this is were Brief Encounter was filmed. With Lancaster & Morecambe only a short drive away you will find lots of shops, bars & restaurants. With a large fairground on Morecambe promenade & a golden sandy beach this will keep the kids amused all day.
How to get there
Lakeland Leisure Village is situated 5 mins from junction 35 of the M6 motorway . Heading north on the M6 take 1st exit left at top of the slip road follow the road till the next roundabout and turn right onto A6. At next roudabout take 3rd exit signposted Capenwray and immediatley turn right into Lakeland Leisure Village. Heading south on the M6 take the third exit on the roundabout signposted Carnforth and follow road till the next roudabout then turn right onto the A6. At next roundabout take 3rd exit signposted Capenwray and immediatley turn right into Lakeland Leisure Village.

The site is very secure having a key card system to enter & exit the village. Very few cars drive round the area so children are free to play safely

There are 4 passes to use at pure leisure for our guests normal price is £7 per day per person and can be used anytime of the day & for the length of your stay. Included in every booking is a meet and greet service, where you will be met personally and all details of the lodge will be explained to you.
