"Most enjoyable stay"
When we arrived we were impressed with the high quality of the lodge and it's location overlooking the Lake.
Every amenity was catered for with lots of extras.
We particularly enjoyed eating in the conservatory overlooking the Lake.
We really appreciated finding the lights and heating on for our arrival.
It made a most enjoyable short break.

"special place with fabulous scenery"
We have just arrived back from No 51, We received a great warm welcome. The lodge was very clean, tidy and everything you would want. The scenery was great and we had the ducks outside the door both mornings waiting to be fed.
It was sheer bliss and a perfect way to spend a couple of days.

"Excellent stay in great surroundings"
The lodge was very clean and had everything you would need for a self catering holiday.
It was set next to the lake which gave a lovely view when sitting in the conservatory.
The children enjoyed the biscuits which John and Margaret left, and the milk was gratefully received too. The beds were very comfotable and the linen was good quality too.
We ate in the onsite restaurant which was very reasonabley priced, with good food and service and would reccommend it to others. The play areas were clean and all staff very helpful.
Both our grandchildren have asked if we can come again.

"Heaven on earth!"
We are so happy to have experienced this beautiful lodge on the edge of Pine Lake, heaven on earth in a nut shell! The owners go above and beyond to make your welcome as homely as possible even providing us with a welcoming box of biscuits. The Lodge is kept in amazing condition and kept to a high standard and all provisions are supplied. Cleanliness is of a high standard. The Lodge slopes down onto a shallow bay in the lake and being welcomed by the 'swan' family in the mornings- gliding in off chilly misty lake was amazing, so mystical. The site offers water sports and the onsite entertainment facilities are very good. The fitness centre has a well sized swimming pool, providing even more relaxation. We had a couple of teens with us durng our stay and they found thier own entertainment in the beautiful surroundings of Pine Lake. We reccommened Lodge 51 to many others and other family members are staying there during August. We will be going again some time soon as Pine Lake is a resort of peace and tranquility. Absolutely beautiful.

"Excellent accommodation with superb views"
Stayed a week at Lodge 51 in PIne Lake, Carnforth.
The accommodation was excellent and was a proper home from home with everything that we needed. We travelled with two young children - 2 and 5 - and there was ample room with the two bedrooms, the bathroom and lounge to accommodate the four of us. We ate out most nights with Carnforth and numerous villages in north Lancashire and Cumbria but the kitchen had all mod cons to enable you to cook for the family or entertain visitors.
The location was equally superb and there was nothing like having breakfast so close to the lake watching the ducks, geese and moorhens swimming nearby. Even at night we sat in the conservatory or on the decking watching the sun set and the wildlife across the lake.
Site facilities provided everything that you needed - swimming pool, gym, play area for the children, excellent restaurant providing different themes each evening and a comprehensive menu to dine either in the restaurant or in the bar.
Away from the site, the location provided easy access to the M6 allowing you direct route into the lake district, the coast and even Carlisle and Scotland. The Lake District was beautiful where we travelled on Lake Windermere, Barrow, Morecambe and other areas further afield.
I totally recommend this resort for the accommodation, facilities both at the lodge and at the resort and the hundreds (literally) of things to do whilst there.
