Situated on South Lakeland Leisure Village which has been the proud recipient of the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and is a Visit Britain 5* Park. The private lake is suitable for fishing, kayaking, wind surfing or sailing (using your own equipment). The lodge benefits from private balcony overlooking lake. The cabin is located just 50 yards from small beach area, large playing field, leisure facilities, beauty suite and restaurant.

With a variety of numerous activities in the local area, the lodge is ideally located for those wishing to explore the surrounding countryside and activities or just relax and recharge, with onsite facilities such as Leisure Centre, Waters Edge Bar and Restaurant and beauty treatments theres something for everyone.

The lodge consists of two double bedrooms, master double bedroom benefits from spacious en-suite shower, washbasin and toilet. One twin bedroom and a separate spacious family bathroom which has a shower attachment, bath, washbasin and toilet. An open-plan living area with a corner sofa and two seater means ample space for all, separate dining area and a self contained kitchen with all the equipment you will need during your stay...

A spacious lounge features panoramic views from floor to ceiling of the picturesque lake and surrounding hills. The lounge area contains a feature fire place with flat screen LCD TV complete with free-view, a DVD and CD player. Selection of board games available. The open plan dining area comfortably seats six.

Fully fitted kitchen with integral appliances: Full size Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Electric Oven, Gas Hob. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, dishes, pans and utensils. Laundry facilities are located on site. The hallway leads to the bedrooms and bathroom and has a storage closest for outdoor shoes and coats. Elegant double bedroom with leather bed, fitted wardrobes, en suite bathroom and flat screen LCD TV with Freeview and DVD. Second double bedroom has large double wardrobe and chest of draws, Twin bedroom with floor to ceiling wardrobe, chest of draws and bedside table.

Parking for 2 small vehicle outside the lodge and additional safe parking approx 50 yards away beside leisure complex.

A deposit of £100 will secure your booking with the balance due 4 weeks prior to stay. A refundable security deposit of £100 is required to cover breakages and / or non-return of keys. To be refunded within 7 days of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

The lodge will be available from 3p.m. on the day of your arrival and should be departed by 11 a.m. on the date of departure.

Conditions

This is a no smoking lodge and we advertise the property as a striclty pet free accommodation, for the reasurance of returning and future guests we apologise but we do not accept pets no matter how well behaved or small.
A travel cot and highchair attachment for dinning chair is available at no additional charge (Guests are asked to provide own linen for the travel cot).

“Lovely lodge” We all had a great weekend at this lodge, as described home from home. On site facilities were excellent, pool was lovely, restaurant good food. Everything in the lodge we required, kids made good use of the games.

“very clean and extremely comfortable” Although the weather was cold during our stay, the lodge was very warm and cosy. The property was very clean and well equipped. It was an added bonus to find supplies of the essentials already in the property. My security deposit was returned within 4 days of returning home. Hope to stay there again in the future.

“amazing” This lodge ticks all the boxes it has everything you want and more .The view of the lake was brilliant the restaurant serves lovely food at affordable prices and the location is superb .The cabin is first class lovely and clean two bathrooms three lovely bedrooms . The owners were most helpful nothing was to much trouble for them and I would recomend this lovely lodge to anyone who wants a nice peaceful realaxing break .It really does have "The x factor"

“Not what we expected from description” The location was great and the amenities were very good, we will return for another holiday here. We had problems from the start trying to book the holiday. There were scam emails to begin with, but I perservered,as in the lodge description it said that it had a washing machine, I was with my husband and daughter and 3 very young grand children and we needed this facilty. Eventually we were able to book the holiday through phoning the owner direct.The booking was trouble free. I forwarded all the scam emails to the owner for her information. In the scam emails I had requested to verification that there was a washing machine in the lodge.The owner was therefore aware that I needed a washing machine. When we arrived at the lodge there was no washing macine, so I phoned the owner , who told me that she would never tell anybody thet there was a washing machine in the lodge, but there was a washing machine in the laundry on site. There was no high chair for the baby, so again I phoned the owner. She told me that there was a booster seat which fastened onto a dining chair. This was totally unacceptable. We managed with out it, but if the baby had been any younger it would have been totally dangerous to put a young baby in such a thing. There was no hair dryer. Some of the crockery was chipped and the melamine fruit dishes were split.On entering the lodge it looked clean and well presented, but we soon realised that it needed a good deep clean. I sent the owner a £100 security cheque which was to be reimbursed to me 7days after leaving the propery. It took 2 emails to request my cheque back. I recieved it 13days after we had finished our holiday. Response: I am disappointed to see our guests feedback. We always have such a positive response from guests and the standards and quality of the accommodation secures repeat bookings and recommendations. There was an issue where the account was hacked and the guest was given false information from the hacker, Holiday Lettings rectified this and extra security measures were introduced. I fully appreciate and thank our guest for bringing this to our attention so we could have the issue addressed immediately. Guests were advised of the facilities available and were fully aware that the washing machine was on site and not in the cabin, unfortunately their contact with the hacker may have confused the issue, guests are asked to check the details on the advert and we ask that if they are unsure about anything please ask. The booster seat/highchair is of british standard and suitable from 6months - 2 years as per all freestanding high chairs. Booster seat and travel cot are provided at no additional charge. The cabin is inspected and cleaned thoroughly after each booking and we have always had positive feedback in relation to this. We endever to return security deposit cheques within 7 days as long as no damage has been identified, we rarely find it necessary to delay this process, it was unfortunate that we found it necessary on this occassion, despite the costs of repairs the security deposit was returned in full within 10 days. Despite the lack of a washing machine in the cabin our reviewer has confirmed they would like to book with us again.

“Lovely place with great facilities” Stayed at 27 Lakeside after it was recommended by another guest and we were not disappointed. Owner was very accomodating as we were travelling with older family members, we were given access to the cabin early and able to stay later on our last day. The property was imaculate and had everything we could of wished for and more. We have stayed at the Leisure Village 3 times before and this is by the far the best cabin we have stayed in. Location is very quite and ideal for us as we want to relax and unwind. Great location for places to visit small quante villages nearby which we thoroughly enjoy visiting. Pool and restaurant facilities are lovely no doubt we will be visiting again soon.
