About the home
Our Lodge is the ideal place for families with children. We have tried to cater for everyone's needs. The spacious open plan lounge is comfortably furnished for up to six guests with cream leather sofa and two arm chairs. The dining area has a table and seating for six people.
Patio doors lead onto a large decked area with outside lighting, garden table, gas barbeque and hot tub over looking partial adjoining lakeside views.
The lodge has a 42" LCD TV with free view , DVD player, Ipod docking station, books, games and local interest leaflets.
The kitchen has everything you could need and includes oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave , toaster, fridge and freezer.
The main bedroom has a walk in wardrobe and drawer space along with an en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and drawer unit and bed side cabinets.
The third bedroom has two single beds and two wardrobes.
There is a separate second bathroom with bath and shower.
Gas, electricity and bed linen are included in the rent, but please bring your own towels and tea-towels.
We have a washer/dryer, Ironing board and Iron. We can provide a travel cot and highchair at no extra cost, please mention when booking. We do however ask you bring your own cot bedding.
We will also try our best to provide you with any extra items you may need, please ask when booking and we try to help. We will provide a welcome basket of basic items such as Tea, Coffee and sugar for your arrival.
Tescos and Booths are a short five minute drive into Carnforth, where you will also find plenty of take aways, pubs and restaurants all situated on one main street.

Just across from the lodge there is a big grass area for children to play football and run around safely and still be heard by you.
Entrance to the Pure Leisure on site Leisure Centre (use of the swimming pool, steam room and gymnasium) is not included in the rental and can be purchased separately. We strongly advise any guest wishing to book beauty treatments do so in advance with the Leisure Centre on 01524 727845.

There is a laundry on site which is coin operated, however we do have a washer/dryer and airing cupboard and clothes maiden in our lodge for you to use.
The Mediterranean style restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and serves an extensive A la Carte Menu. You can choose from both Mediterranean cuisine and traditional English dishes.
Fish, Seafood, Steak and Pizzas are all specialities, but the restaurant also offers snacks throughout the day. They will deliver take away to your lodge too.
There is also a stylish cocktail bar and weather permitting you can sit outside and eat Alfresco by the lake.
Special evenings are featured throughout the year and if you are staying in our lodge over the Christmas period you should try the festive menu or perhaps book your Christmas Day Lunch.

Although the lodge itself is all on one level, there are steps up to it, making it inaccessible for wheelchairs.

We do not refund for malfunctioning hot tubs. Sometimes services and parts are unavailable which can cause delays and lead to disappointment, this is especially true in hot tub cases. If this should occur it would not be reasonable to expect compensation for things beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Conditions
The accommodation is available from 4pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on morning of departure. Some flexibility is available if required.
A non refundable deposit o secures booking with the balance due 4 weeks prior to commencement of holiday. Bookings made within 4 weeks of date of holiday are payable in full, if the balance is not paid we will presume the booking is no longer needed and we will have to re advertise the dates and therefore we do advise you take out holiday insurance as we can not be held responsible for any unforeseen events which may cause you to cancel your booking
A refundable £100 deposit is required to cover any breakages, this will be refunded in full if no damage is incurred.
Please note - This is a non smoking lodge and we do not accept pets.

The Cumbria/Lake District region
Lakeland Leisure Village is an exclusive holiday lodge complex built around a large lake in the South Lakes. It's the ideal base for your holidays, bordering the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Blackpool and other seaside towns of the North West are only a short drive away.
The quiet coastal areas of Arnside and Silverdale are right on the doorstep in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' that include the nationally acclaimed RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss. You can be in Windermere and the Lake District within twenty minutes, and the Yorkshire Dales are pretty much on your doorstep.
Lakeland Leisure Village is a peaceful, relaxing place... but if you're looking for things to do, you'll find plenty on-site!
The Carnforth / Arnside area
Activities include, cycling, walking, local strawberry picking, paint balling, fishing, sailing, golf, climbing and watersports. The RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss is ideal for bird watchers and is nationally renowned. Nearby beauty spots include Fairy Steps, Wharton Crag, Arnside Knott and Farleton Fell, ideal spots for walking and picnics. Children will particularly enjoy South Lakes Zoo, Docker Park Farm where they get to handle farm animals and the Butterfly House at Williamson Park, Lancaster. Water sports at the adjoining Pine Lake and diving at Capernwray . Further leaflets and information is available in our lodge.

Had a brilliant time here. The lodge is wonderfully equipped - simply a home from home. Hot tub a lovely addition to the beautifully kept lodge. A pleasure to deal with the owners who went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Will definitely be back very soon. Thanks for a brilliant time. Wanted to surprise the children this Easter. Decided that to keep them happy and entertained we needed somewhere with easy access to a swimming pool, somewhere for them to safely ride their bikes and a bit of luxury for Mum and Dad...a private hot tub!!! Told the children we were just looking round the lodge to see what they were like - once they had explored we asked them if they would like to stay for 3 whole nights!!! We will NEVER forget the look on their faces - they were thrilled. The hot tub turned out to be a luxury for them too - they loved it! Stayed local, and ate in most nights, as the children were happy to do this. Had a lovely day out in Grange Over Sands - very peaceful. Morecambe....well...the kids were happy for their "penny fall fix" - but other than that - nothing to write home about! South Lakes Wildlife Park was good value for money, and was enjoyed by all! Availability notes:
All dates are subject to availability. A booking can not be confirmed until I have received an Initial deposit of £100 with a signed booking contract. Please note check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. During the quieter months I can usually offer a much much earlier check in, sometimes as early as 10am, it depends if I have had guests in on the day you arrive, same applies to check out, if I have no guests arriving you can stay in the lodge most of the day and check out as late as 6pm.
