Situated 1 mile from the village of Carnas in beautiful countryside, this is the ideal setting to spend a relaxing holiday by the pool side. Shaded by mature pine trees, the patio is the ideal place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner with the cicadas and birds being the only sounds you will hear.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Gard region

Carnas is a small village in the hilly part of the Languedoc-Roussillon, between the sea and the Cevennes mountains. Ideally situated between the Cevennes mountains (45mn away) and the sandy beaches of the Camargue (30mn away), there is plenty to see and do whatever your particular interests are, and your holiday can be as relaxing, entertaining or active as you like.
There is something to do for all the family, from walking to canoeing to water sports at the nearest seaside town (La Grande Motte, 30km away) to simply visiting the numerous museum, caves (La Grotte des Demoiselles) and Roman Ruins (Le Pont du Gard) or just exploring the numerous little towns and villages doting the surrounding countryside. You can sample the local wine in almost every village and during the summer, with all the festivals in each town succeeding each other, there is never a dull moment.

Carnas area

All through summer, all the villages hold their annual festival one after the other so there is always something to do or see. Become familiar with the local customs of Encierros and Abrivados (activities involving bulls, horses, local daring dos and lots of cheering), explore local markets and discover the many specialities of the area.

How to get there

Fly to Nimes (Ryanair) and drive to Quissac or fly to Montpellier (Ryanair/British Airways) and drive to Sommieres then on to Carnas.
You can also use Marseilles Airport (Ryanair/Easyjet/British Airways) which is roughly 1hr30mn from Nimes.

For up to 6 or 12 people, the villa has been fully renovated with one single idea in mind, making it as comfortable as possible so you can have a peaceful and relaxing holiday (I know we do!).

Cote Pins is a fully independent apartment with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher (you and I have other things to do than washing up!), oven, microwave, fridge, freezer etc. There is a coffee machine, a teapot and kettle too! There are 3 bedrooms, one double, one with bunk beds and one with 1 single bed. All are bright and simply furnished, with good quality bedding. Baby cot and equipment available on request (free). Dining room and lounge with enclosed fireplace.

For those of you who would consider using the house when the weather is slightly cooler, the large fireplace in the living room will heat the whole house and there are electric radiators too. The floors are tiled throughout except for the bedrooms were there is laminated flooring. The house is equipped with a showeroom with large shower and the master bedroom has an en suite showeroom. There is a barbecue on the patio and the pool is fully enclosed with childproof locks on the gates.

Large landscaped garden fully enclosed with high entrance gate. There is a lot of shade and cool corners to have a snooze in, there is also a set of swings for children and a large grassy area to play ball. The swimming pool is available from June until end of September.
We provide kitchen linen and cleaning products as well as sheets and baby equipment (cot, high chair etc) is available on demand, free of charge. Sheets and towels are also provided free of charge.
The villa is split into 2 apartments, these can be booked together or separately (one at a time). Please see our website for further details and tariffs.
