Villa della Costa is ideal for a holiday near Florence, it is an elegant and charming old villa overlooking Florence area. Built in the early 1600's this lovely villa with original frescos at the interior is located in the Tuscan region where the highest quality of olive oil is produced ,we have 270 olive trees and you can taste our fine production.

It may accommodate 6 people . Guests have a private swimming pool at their disposal. The rooms are furnished in a fine style as well as the rest of the villa, with furnishings of prestige. Around the villa is a beautiful garden, typical of the Tuscan countryside, private car parking; from the 3 large bedrooms and garden you may enjoy with stunning views on Florence plain Wi-Fi Internet. Dinners may be organized on request.
Travel time by car to Florence is 20 minutes. Pisa airport is 40 minutes far.
Vinci, the Leonardo birthplace, is 20 minutes far, you can visit the museum dedicated to Leonardo and the house where he was born.

The villa have modern bathrooms and air conditioning in all rooms, a relaxing elegance in this tranquil country setting. Amenities also include telephone, satellite plasma TV, unlimited free WIFI (wireless) Internet, a computer at your disposal and a beautiful swimming pool from which you can enjoy a wonderful view over the plain of Florence . The only extra charge is for heating, if used, on consume. Initial and final cleaning, use of linen ,electricity, water and towels are included on the price The ancient and very large kitchen is well equipped .

5 minutes by car from the villa there is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Tuscany, Le Pavoniere, an 18 hole golf course built in the midst of an ancient Medici's farm.

YOU MUST VISIT:
1. Duomo Group, Florence Italy - For some of the most amazing views of Florence, the cathederal provides two lookouts at Giottos' lithe and the belltower. The dome is a remarkable engineering feat where th crossing was constructed as a double shell in 1420.
2.Uffizi, Florence - Once the former offices of the ruling family Medici, this is a virtual location for seeing all that is Renaissance. Designed by Giorgio Vasari there are over 1,700 pieces. Allow sufficient time to enjoy these masterpieces.
3. Pitti Palace, Florence - The former residence of the Medici family, it is clearly were you want to be if you love art and beautiful gardens. The Boboli gardens are not to be missed full of fountains and cypress.
4.Siena's Campo and Palazzo Pubblico - An outstanding public square which would be an excellent location for a spy movie. Original construction began in 1100. There is a Palio horse racing twice a year. Origins of these races date from the Middle Ages.
5. San Gimignano, Tuscany - This is a magical ancient town in Tuscany comprised of at fourteen towers and numerous churches abound with romance and a large collection of 14th and 15th century art. While many of the tourists leave town on the buses at about 5:00, this wanderlust village is worthy of a night's stay. Best view- The 175 foot Torre Grossa which is the tallest tower in San Gimignano.
6.Lucca - Looking for Romanesque facades? This is the place to visit However, opera is Lucca's message to the world. Residents are also famed for their love of biking.

The Carmignano area

If you want to reach Carmignano by coach you can take the motorway A11 FI-mare ( Prato exit ). Situated in central position between the towns of Florence, Prato and Pistoia it allows to reach quickly other important towns like Lucca, Pisa and Siena. Today it's one of the most famous zones in Tuscany where we find the production of the D.O.C.G. wine and of olive oil. Besides its territory allows to visit works and monuments which document the history from the Etruscans to the modern art like the "Museo Acheologico Comunale" ( the Municipal Archaeological Museum), the Rocca and the medieval village of Artimino, the "Visitazione del Pontormo", and the "Museum-Park Quinto Martini".
