Further east Carmarthenshire also has lots to attract holidaymakers, with historic castles, mountains, rivers and of course coastline. No matter where you choose your never too far away from mountains and the sea and of course there is the thriving cities of Cardiff and Swansea to visit, where you'll find lots of first class shops, cafes and restaurants.

"Fabulous holiday with the dogs"

The house was large comfortable and well equiped, A huge dog crate , dog bowls toys ,dog beds all available for use. ( we were a party of 3 adults and a 14yr girl &3 spaniels) the dogs adored the beach and the woods ( 3mile drive) had some lovely views . We were dissapointed we could not go into Llansteffan castle with the dogs but a nice walk none the less.We also took a trip to the millenium beach/park a man made beach 11 miles a really lovely walk for all, beautiful scenery ( a half an hour drive) . I would definately recommend this property for a peaceful relaxing break ( ideal for walkers & dog owners ). The sun trap back garden was great as weather was better than expected ( for wales) . The owner, neighbours &village shop very friendly & helpful although the shop not that well stocked , (a 24hr Tescos is 8miles away in Camarthan). only negatives only a retractable line ( which was no use, it drooped with a sock) a small wooden airer was the only means of drying clothes even though had a washing machine , a full length mirror would of been nice , mirrors in all rooms but only small ( complaint by daughters), The cooking utensils were flimsy but otherwise well equipped. But minor moans all in all loved it and would definately recommend.
