"A Gem of a place"
We recently stayed here to celebrate Dad's 86th birthday and it was lovely. The Barn conversion is beautiful, with wonderful views from a superbly decorated kitchen. We loved the open aspect of the bifold doors and was just disappointed that the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the patio area. The barn was extremely well stocked and we lacked for nothing (except warmer weather). We enjoyed a superb meal at The Forresters Arms in the village with wonderful friendly service. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and after our days out and about the log fire at the barn was lovely. Couldn't fault anything and I am sure we will be back. Thank you Julie. A place to be proud of. Ingrid and Roger Brown

We have just returned from an extended weekend at this lovely property. The layout and decor is perfect and the views are too die for! Would definitely recommend the property. Location is great and the pub down the road is also worth a visit.

"BRILLIANT COSY COTTAGE!!"
My family and I stayed here for Christmas Week and had the most wonderful time. The owner, (Julie) went out of her way to trim up the cottage, which made it extremely festive. The location of the cottage is brilliant with lots of walks and hikes to be done, right from the cottage door...lots of attractions near by and loads to see.
The finish inside the barn conversion is done to a very high standard and the property was spotless inside, fully equipped with every possible utensil needed - you didn't have to bring a thing apart from yourself!!
The local pub down the road, (Foresters Arms) was a superb local pub run by the community and was a cracking pub for food and drinks. We had dinner there Christmas Eve and the food was out of this world and extremely reasonably priced. There is a traditional feel to the pub with an open fire burning and an extremely friendly atmosphere.
I would recommend this cottage to anyone....brilliant cottage, spectacular views across the Yorkshire Dales and lots to do on your doorstep!
We'll definitely be back!!

We spent a weekend with friends in this wonderful barn. It is newly converted and everything was excellent from the comfortable beds, cosy lounge with log burner, exceptionally well equipped kitchen diner which also had an amazing view over the dale. There were so many lovely touches like fresh flowers, quality furnishings and beautiful decoration. We have stayed in many cottages over the last twenty years and can truly say this was the best. The village is lovely with a fantastic community owned super pub serving exceptionally good 'gastro food'. Coverdale is a lovely dale with wonderful walks in every direction.
