There are three car parking spaces at the front of the house. There is a back yard, clothes line, patio area. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Each room is a double room. Spacious kitchen, sitting room. Fully equipped for self-catering holidays.
Very suitable location for day trips to the Slieve Bloom Mountains or a day at the beach at Courtown in Wexford or a day's shopping in Carlow or Kilkenny or a day trip to Dublin. Wicklow is just a half an hour drive away where you will find St Kevin's Monastery at Glendalough, the Meeting of the Waters at Avoca and the world renowned hand woven cloth at Avoca, Blessington Lakes are also quite close by as well as Powerscourt.

The South East Ireland / County Carlow region
Carlow is a large town of approx 25,000 people. It is steeped in history. There is Browne's Hill Dolmen which dates back to 3000 BC, it is a megalithic tomb. There is also a Romanesque doorway at Killeshin dating back to the 5th century. Carlow is famous for St Patrick's Cathedral and St Patrick's College. The River Barrow flows through Carlow town and offers a wide variety of activities such as boating, canoeing, birdwatching, angling etc. There are numerous places for game and course fishing in the area. Tackle, bait and permits are obtainable locally.
Carlow area
Altamont Gardens and Duckettsgrove are beautiful places just to stroll around. There are three championship golf courses at Carlow, Killerig and Mount Wolsely. If it is traditional dancing and music, why not try the Dancing Boards on Sunday afternoons at Rossmore. There are a number of festivals e.g. Carlow Arts Festival, Carlow Floral Festival and Carlow Autumn Walking Festival, the Carlow Arts Festival and the Electric Picnic in Stradbally.
How to get there
This house is situated in Carlow Town. It is one and a half hours drive to the car ferry at Rosslare. It is also one and a half hours to Dublin ferry or airport.
