About the home

If you're looking for a property which is full of character, has its own heated swimming pool, saunas and hot tub and has modern facilities such as Wi-Fi and range master cooker then Braithwaite Mill is the holiday property for you! Accommodating up to six people (and four dogs!) the old sandstone cottage is located in a rural location in the small hamlet of Low Braithwaite. The ground floor has a fantastic indoor heated swimming pool and sauna as well as a hot tub which is located on the courtyard outside along with a BBQ and garden furniture. The lounge is located on the first floor and has luxurious leather sofas, a wood burning stove and modern TV with sky. There's also a dining room, large kitchen and useful utility room.

The Cumbria/Lake District region

The Carlisle / Ivegill area

Low Braithwaite is a very rural hamlet one mile from the village of Ivegill which is positioned on the banks of the river Ive. Positioned mid way between Carlise and Penrith the property is ideal for those looking to explore the eastern side of the Lakes, the Caldbeck Fells and the Eden Valley. Hutton in the Forest is an ancient house surrounded by medieval forest and offers a great day out with a selection of art and tapestry to view. Also close by is High Head Sculpture Village, a unique attraction at High Head Farm which exhibits all types of photography and sculptures
