About the home

Primrose Cottage and Holly Cottage are 300 year old character cottages, situated on a small farm and race horse establishment in Cumbria where the owners live and work. Both offer all the charm and appeal you expect from traditional Lake District cottages alongside the convenience of modern facilities such as contemporary fitted kitchens with electric oven, hob, fridge, washing machine and microwave, en suite bathrooms and wet rooms and electric central heating. A TV and DVD player is also available in the comfortable lounge of each cottage. Holly Cottage sleeps two making it an ideal romantic country retreat for couples, whilst Primrose Cottage accommodates four making it perfect for family holiday accommodation Cumbria style.

The Cumbria/Lake District region

Hadrian's Wall is a popular local attraction and the buzzing metropolitan city of Newcastle upon Tyne is only a short drive away.
