This delightful three bedroom, two bathroom stone cottage in the Cooley mountains - close to the historic and medieval village of Carlingford offers peace and relaxation with opportunities for mountain walking, golf (two clubs in the area) traditional Irish music and the famous Oyster Festival in August - not to mention the annual mountain hunt for the 'last leprechaun'! Close to the M1 motorway it is equal distance between Dublin Airport in the south and Belfast Airport in the north (95 kilometres). The cottage has been extensively renovated and decorated to a high standard. With open fire in lounge area and oil central heating it is suitable for all year round holidays. Experience the Irish countryside with a trip through the mountains, sample the abundance of pubs and restaurants or just relax in the peace and tranquility.

August is the month of the famous Oyster Festival where the town is alive with side shows and --of course --oysters.There are numerous pubs and restaurants in the village and surrounding area offering wonderful food and craic

"A very pleasant and relaxing break!"
